💾 Tiny Win: Back Up Your ProductiveBot Mac Mini
Did you know that you can backup your Mac Mini in 2 different ways? Your ProductiveBot Mac Mini is still a Mac, which means it’s smart to back it up. You have two simple options to think about: Option 1: Time Machine ⏲️ Time Machine is Apple’s built-in Mac backup tool. You connect an external drive, set it as your backup disk, and your Mac can automatically back up your files. 👍 Pros: • Best option for a full Mac backup • Can help restore deleted or older files • Runs automatically once it’s set up • Good safety net if something goes wrong 👎 Cons: • Requires an external drive • The drive needs to stay connected regularly • You have to make sure it’s actually running Option 2: iCloud 🌥️ iCloud can sync and store things like Desktop, Documents, Photos, Notes, passwords, and other Apple app data across your devices. 👍 Pros: • Good for accessing important files from multiple devices • Helpful for documents, photos, notes, and everyday files • No external drive needed • Runs quietly in the background once set up 👎 Cons: • iCloud is more of a sync/storage tool, not a full Mac backup like Time Machine • It uses your iCloud storage plan • If you delete something and it syncs, that change may carry across devices • It may not cover everything on your Mac Mini Best simple setup? Use Time Machine for your full Mac backup, and use iCloud for the files you want synced and easy to access. Your bot is useful because it remembers, organizes, and helps you get things done. Backing up your Mac Mini helps protect that setup.

🏁 ProductiveBot vs DIY OpenClaw
There are now 316+ AI models to choose from. OpenClaw just shipped its second major update this month. And a new phishing vulnerability in misconfigured AI agents just made the news. None of that is a problem if you have a ready-to-go setup. It's a full-time job if you don't. Here's the honest breakdown of DIY OpenClaw: You download it. You configure the gateway. You figure out which model to use. You connect your channels. You manage your own security settings. You troubleshoot when something breaks — and something always breaks. Oh, and when a new version ships? That's on you too. Here's ProductiveBot: It arrives on a pre-configured Mac Mini. You plug it in. You follow the setup guide. Your AI agent is running. New update comes out? Scout walks you through it — or handles it entirely. Security question? Scout's there. Something weird happening? Scout's on it 24/7. The people saving 10–20 hours a week with AI agents aren't spending their time on setup. They're spending it on the work that matters. Customer support handled overnight. Content drafted before they wake up. Follow-ups sent while they're in a meeting. That's what a running bot looks like. The difference between ProductiveBot and DIY isn't the technology. It's what you actually spend your time doing. Building your business — or building your setup? If you want to skip straight to the good part: https://productivebot.ai Drop a question below if you're still deciding. Happy to help.

Backup Config! 😎
Hey Community! Last week my bot went way down. I was trying to install Hermes, something went sideways and my bot was not operational. However, there is a LESSON to this and I wanted to share this with you. As we get updates to our bots, make sure you ask your bot to create a current backup of your config. Your Bot will give you the correct code for your terminal. What does this do? If you bot goes down, and if Scout can only do so much, you can run the backup via the terminal. But, always make sure you are running the most current backup! Anyway, I hope this helps!
