Good afternoon everyone. Hope all are well. Picked this up Thursday, took it for a test drive. BDK Creme De Cuir. It is creamy and to my nose very sandalwood dominate. I like it, but you have to like sandalwood. Name “ Cuir” is misleading to my nose. I do not detect much leather. But it is smooth and creamy. I do like it on skin though. I don’ t have many sandalwood fragrances in my collection. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.

Evening everyone. Hope all is well with loved ones. Was hoping this resonated with me better than the original. It is no as in your face as the original. A very situational wearing for me. Have to take it out for a test drive.

I am back after having the flu most of this week. Last night I had a dream about Seamless Soul, so I figured it's a sign! Lost my flame, but it is what it is.

The blast of pineapple up front is really what I get addicted to with this scent. Its a great fragrance but, and I know this is unpopular, I am not the biggest fan of the “eternal longevity”. Call me a control freak or whatever but sometimes the lingering bastardized remnants and ghostly olfactive apparitions are more off putting than endearing. For some reason this hangs around on me like a loosely moraled ex girlfriend that needs money, she says, are for physical “enhancements” but are for her new boyfriends DJ career. As its an attempt at duping Absolu Aventus its probably 80% there and only lacks the softer edges and some different notes. This seems darker to me. If you enjoy wearing it or rather reapplying daily and making this a signature scent you will love it. Your clothes will not but you will smell good. Jury is still out for me though. I feel the itch is scratched with Montblanc Explorer Extreme and the Armaf CDN Precieux 1. Both are a bit more manageable and smell great.

My favourite fragrance by a country mile. That 80-year-old Oud is tempered with a delicious spicy sweetness. This stuff lasts for literal days, even at one or two sprays. Not blind buy or office safe. I’m WFH today so I get to wallow in the decadence. 100ml bottle was a gift from my amazing wife.
