how to trust yourself again
When was the last time you truly trusted yourself? Not trusted that everything would work out...Trusted you. For a long time, I thought self trust came from having all the answers or making the right decisions. It doesn't... At least not in my experience Self trust is built every time you keep a promise to yourself, no matter how small. Getting out of bed when you said you would. Going for the walk. Drinking the water. Making the phone call. Sitting in silence for five minutes. It may seem insignificant in the moment, but every small action is quietly sending your nervous system a message... "I'm someone who shows up." Over time, those little moments become evidence. Evidence that you're reliable. Evidence that you'll be there for yourself. Evidence that you're no longer the person who gives up when life gets uncomfortable. We spend so much of our lives looking for one big breakthrough, when in reality, trust is built in the ordinary moments that no one else sees. Keep planting the seeds. Keep showing up. Keep choosing yourself. Because the harvest never comes the day you plant the seed... It comes because you kept showing up long after you couldn't see anything growing. What's one small promise you can make to yourself this week that you know you'll keep?👇

This really resonated with me. Self-trust grows one small promise at a time. Consistency over perfection. Every time we show up for ourselves, we're reinforcing the belief that we can rely on ourselves. Great reminder!
Self Love Changes What You Tolerate
What's one thing you've stopped tolerating because you've learned to love yourself more? For me, it would definitely be choosing not to surround myself with people who aren't willing to grow. I used to hold on to relationships with people who would rather criticize, complain, or try to pull others down than do the work on themselves. Learning to love myself meant protecting my peace and surrounding myself with people who are committed to growing, healing, and becoming better. Growth often isn't about what we add. Sometimes it's about what we're no longer willing to accept. What's one thing you've stopped tolerating? Share below 👇

I've stopped tolerating the belief that I always have to push harder. Learning to slow down, accept what is, and treat myself with more kindness has been one of the biggest changes in my life.
What book left such an impact that you’re a different person because of it?
If I had to pick just one it would have to be Awareness by Anthony De Mello

Mine is Don't Sweat the Small Stuff by Richard Carlson. It's the book that changed my life and completely shifted the way I think. I'm currently working through it again, sharing a weekly reflection on each chapter in my community. Amazing how a book can keep teaching you years later.
give yourself time
sometimes life is going to give us seasons that require us to surrender... completely let go... so we can go through the pain that eventually leads us to our freedom. sometimes there are no quick fixes.. or any fixes at all, other than time itself. so... give yourself time.. time to process.. time to grieve.. time to feel. it's all good.. it's human.. it's healing.. the external doesn't take care of the internal.. the internal takes care of the external.. so go inwards.. that's where your treasure is, and has always been. I believe in you so much

I think a lot of us need this reminder. We spend so much energy trying to fix things quickly, when sometimes the most healing thing we can do is simply give ourselves time. We don't have to rush everything! Thanks for sharing this. 🙏🌿

@Justin Peters Probably trying to let go of rushing everything. I'm learning that the things that matter most. Healing, growth, relationships, even building something meaningful usually take time. I'm still practising that every day. 🙏

Thanks for having me here. I'm Darren from the Central Coast, Australia. I've been meditating since the mid-1990s and recently became a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher, although I'm still continuing my studies because I feel there's always more to learn. I work as a sports and remedial massage therapist, and over the last few years I've found myself naturally weaving mindfulness and meditation into many of my sessions. I'm passionate about helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and realise that healing isn't just physical. Looking forward to learning from everyone here, sharing what I've learnt along the way, and continuing to grow together. 🙏
