Emotional intelligence and self control. Really trying to be better to lead the guys im around at work every day. I try really hard not to push my younger brothers buttons but I slip. Its easy to frustrate him. I am better than I was. I know I need to Love Him even when I feel a certain way with how he is treating me. I know Love is giving hom what he needs the most even when I feel like he doesn't deserve it. Pray for me to take ownership for where I have gone wrong with Him, and that with The Lords help we can restore our relationship back to a healthy one. I know it takes my 100% effort and all of the grace I can get. Thank you

Introduction
I am a Christ follower. I am a Husband, a father (one is a year old and the other is 10) a Carpenter by trade, a Jack of all by hobby. My one big goal for Leadership Development I have this year is to work on Emotional control (me) and more importantly Emotional awareness for others. The biggest challenge I see right now for this goal is not being in tune with others around me. Understanding where they are at in their own journey and being compassionate for whatever they have going on. For me personally I need to work on not dropping the ball when it comes to controlling any Emotional outburst. I realize how much the attitude I bring to any situation (good/bad) can affect others around me. I want to be positive to every soul I touch.

Rare Leadership
I was challenged to read this by @Bill Mason . If anybody wants to dig in with me and swap some Ideas, I'm doing chapter 2 today and trying to keep that pace at one a day. Feel free to D.M. me any thoughts, or anything that sticks out to you. Very eye openin. Hey Guys! I'm Alan Pastian and I've been married for 28 years and have a daughter who just graduated college and moved to Seoul and my son is graduating High School in a few weeks! I've also been a Pastor for almost 30 years and love seeing people step into God's amazing plan for their lives! Coaching has helped me inspire people to be who God has always wanted them to be! So being with you all is truly inspiring!
