Bugger… missed it 😢
What I'm learning about Skool.
Everytime you like a person's posts or comments they get a point (I think you do also) it's the platforms way of rewarding engagement. When you add people you get points (I think) When I start adding content here, you can set it to different levels, so the more people engage with the group the more levels they can unlock. If everyone invited 2 people the group would obviously grow quicker and would have more of a community feel because your friends are here and community is what Skool wants to promote. So get liking, posting, commenting and inviting and let's see what else there is here for us all. Xx

What eyes are you using?
How often do you remember you can choose your experience of something, beore it even begins? I watched a training recently, one I'd watched a number of times but this time I decided to watch it as if it was the first time I’d ever seen it. Not with the “I know this already” lens. Not with the mental notes of what I’d heard before. I deliberately decided to sit down with fresh eyes, as though it was brand new, to stay connected and find more gold. And find it I did. By carving out that time, by showing up with curiosity instead of yeah, yeah, already know this I created the space for magic to appear. For new insights to hit me and new ideas to take action on. It got me thinking, again, how often in life do we dull the potential gold that's available? How often do I decide what something will be like before I arrive, shutting the door on the possibility of surprise? I know I'm not alone. It’s easy to slip into autopilot: same meeting, same people, same story, same result, yet nothing is ever really the same. The moment we decide there is more to see, we open up the potential to something new. What's waiting for us when we drop the blinkers of expectation? Because expectation narrows us, while curiosity expands us. When we lead from fresh eyes, we don’t just change our experience. We change the experience for everyone we are with. People can feel when you’re actually present with them. So today I’m inviting you to explore: How can you show up as if it’s the first time? What magic might appear if you stop assuming you already know? Fresh eyes don’t just change what we see. They change everything around us. Much love - what eyes will you use today - Jules

Removing that “I already know this” mindset open you up to learning new things and spotting things that may have previously been missed. Whenever we think “But I already know this”, our brain closes to any new info. Fresh eyes are always the best eyes 😁👍🏻👀

@Julie Brown I don’t think we forget it, it just gets buried under all the crap that comes after it lol That knowledge comes back to the surface when we get a trigger to help it. This is what I used to tell the kids when I worked in a school and they were stressing around exam time. It’s difficult to remember facts either no context but if I asked them to explain something, the context would be there and they surprise themselves by how much they DO actually know 😁👍🏻
Action wins the day.
What one thing will you do today to work on your business? One thing I have noticed in coaches who do not have the business they want is they often don't keep showing up even when it looks as though nothing is happening. One thing I've noticed in coaches who do run successful businesses, is they serve, they show up, they don't wait to feel good, they show up before they are ready. So what are you going to do today? So far I have had a connection call, filled in my captains log for the AJC, am writing this post and will copy it to FB and invite some more people to come and join us. Zero action produces 100% zero results in your business. So lets go. If you are not sure what you can do, pop me a voicenote, I'm sure I can suggest something very quickly. Much love - lets get into action - Jules

The lead magnet is just to get new people on my list and then I can start nurturing the new people and the existing. I like the idea of a sequence for the new people, then it will become a weekly kind of email to everyone.
Copywriting that connects
Hi all, in resonce to @Darren Danks question about copywriting I have recorded a short video around writing copy to speak to our audiences. Key Themes 1. Copywriting is Conversation 2. Voice Over Performance 3. Client Language is Gold 4. The 6A Framework 5. Storytelling Builds Trust 6. Simple Structures Work Best 7. Consistency Over Perfection Key Takeaways - Copywriting is not about tricks; it’s about trust. - If your words wouldn’t feel natural spoken aloud, they won’t connect in writing. - Using your client’s exact phrases immediately makes your copy resonate. - Stories open emotional doors that facts and benefits cannot. - You don’t need long, hype-filled funnels — just clear, honest structures. - Building a small, regular writing habit is the only sustainable path to finding your authentic voice. Action Steps 1. Conversation First - Write one post as if you were explaining your work to your best friend. - Read it aloud — if it sounds natural, it’s good copy. 2. Build a Language Bank - Keep a notebook or digital file of phrases your clients use about struggles and dreams. - Start future posts with these exact words. 3. Practice Storytelling - Write a 5-sentence story using the structure: Hook → Struggle → Shift → Outcome → Invitation. - Use small everyday examples, not just big transformation stories. 4. Use the Simple Post Formula - Next time you sit down to write: start with empathy, share a story or insight, offer reflection, and close with an invitation. 5. Simplify Your Sales Page - Rewrite one of your offers using the 5-step frame: Desire → Obstacle → Vision → Your Help → Next Step. 6. Daily Writing Practice - Commit to 5 minutes a day of raw writing or voice notes. - Don’t edit while writing — capture, then shape later. https://youtu.be/zKZcQZ4CnkQ
