Starting Tiktok Shop
Hello guys. I found this group through the discovery communities feature here in Skool. I'll be starting tiktok shop US next week. We have 2 best selling SKUs in EU, we have done over $3M in 2 years with Meta/Google and influencer marketing. What would you say is it important to start with and get attention from high GMV affiliates? My plan is to send a 1000 pcs for each SKU, use cruva to send bot messages to affiliates. Hire 2 affiliates on retainer ($500-$1000/m to produce 30 videos per month that I can post in our organic page) What would be your plan to approach this?

Omg, no @Kelvon Himself I wouldn’t rely on fully automated outreach and just blasting out thousands of samples. You can use automation to scale, but this still needs hands-on management. If you send samples to everyone, only a small % will actually post - and that’s not the goal. What you really want is for each sample to generate 2+ videos, and that only happens with proper communication, follow-ups, and actually building relationships with affiliates. Volume is important at the start, yeah, it helps attract more bigger creators, but don’t just give products away to random, low-performing affiliates. At the very least, check their est post rate before sending anything. Also, quick note: if you’re hiring creators just to produce content for your brand, make sure they’re not posting those videos on their own pages. Have you thought about your promo strategy yet? You’ll need strong offers to drive those first orders, especially so affiliates have something compelling to push. I don’t know your exact category, but something like a gift with purchase works really well on TikTok
Criticize my product
Hello! Will be glad to hear what do you think about product, is it worth selling on TikTok shop? We owe a TOP position on Amazon, but on TTS it performs bad. What do you think I should improve? https://www.tiktok.com/shop/pdp/wbcm-lifting-thumb-tape-by-warm-body-cold-mind-protect-fingers-improve-grip-elastic-easy-tear/1731181916662305418?source=ecommerce_store&enter_method=feed_list_store_list_product&first_entrance=ecommerce_store&first_entrance_tt_scene=seo

Hey @Oleksiy Torokhtiy 👋 So first thing I noticed when I opened your product page - the competitor right below had free shipping + solid discounts. Meanwhile, you’ve got no discounts, and free shipping only kicks in above $60… when your product is $59.90 😅 that’s a bit of a tough sell. Also, TikTok’s running the Spring Glow Sale now, but I didn’t see any campaign badges on your products. Are you not joining these campaigns? That’s usually a pretty big visibility boost. You already have a strong brand and likely get sales from product cards - this could push things even further with TikTok’s own traffic. Another thing I was wondering about: you’ve got a good number of sales, but not that many reviews. Are you doing anything to actively collect them? Like review coupons, post-purchase reminders via CRM, or even a quick follow-up message through support chat? Feels like there’s some easy upside there. Also, your shop page - definitely room to level it up. The brand is strong, but it’s not really coming through in the banners/design. You can add your photos haha Overall, I’d focus on tightening your offer strategy. I get that margins matter, but this is all stuff you can plan around, and on TikTok especially, FOMO really drives conversions.
Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸

Gold-Standard Shop Decoration 🤔
TikTok Shop says that following their Gold-Standard Shop Decoration Guide is the key to boosting shop page conversions - but in our experience, shorter shop pages often work better, especially if your audience already knows the brand or if the owner has a personal brand. In that case, you can rely on visual banners with photos, along with blocks featuring the most popular products and deals. I'm curious - have you noticed the same? Or do you think the layout of a shop page doesn’t really matter? Would love to hear your thoughts
