Write the thing that scares you a little.
I’ve been deep in my memoir lately, writing through some of the heavier chapters. The ones about loss, family, and how grief quietly shapes the way we move through the world. What’s surprised me most isn’t the sadness… It’s the clarity. Every time I write about something hard, I end up learning something I didn’t realize I’d been carrying. There’s this moment, maybe you know it too, where the memory stops being a weight and becomes a message. A reminder. A direction. And it made me think of all of us in this group. We’re all trying to make sense of our own stories, sentence by sentence, hoping they land somewhere true. Some days the writing flows. Other days, we feel like we’re digging through stone with a spoon. But every time we sit down and try again, we’re proving something important: Our stories matter because we’re the only ones who can tell them. So if you’re stuck, or tired, or doubting your voice — keep going. Write the next paragraph. Write the messy version. Write the thing that scares you a little. You never know… it might be the page that finally teaches you something real about yourself. Keep writing. We’re all in this with you
FINDING MY GROOVE AGAIN
Lately I’ve been trying to find my groove again. And honestly, sometimes the moments when we’re struggling are the exact moments shaping us the most. They feel heavy, dark, confusing… but they’re also the days where we grow roots. If you’re going through something right now, I see you. I’m right there with you. And I’m still here, still showing up, still building alongside you. And here’s a small win I’m proud of: I wrote 30,000 words in one week for my new memoir. Not because everything was perfect, but because I kept going anyway. Whatever you’re facing, keep moving. Even one small step counts. We’re all growing through this together.
:(
Hey everyone,I wanted to share something personal. The past few weeks have been heavier than usual for me, and I’ve been navigating a really difficult time behind the scenes. I’m doing my best to stay consistent here because this community genuinely means a lot to me. Your messages, your creativity, your growth, all of it keeps me going. If you’ve been finding value in this space and you feel called to support, I do have a Buy Me A Coffee page. There’s zero pressure. The community will always stay open and free, and I’ll keep showing up. But any support right now would help me keep creating, posting, and building what we’re building together. buymeacoffee.com/dannydragone Either way, thank you for being here. This community has been a bright spot for me, and I’m grateful for every one of you.

@Ruth Ware sure
Let's Come Together
Hey everyone, friendly reminder: This community only gets better when we actually talk to each other. Don’t be shy — post your work, ask questions, share a win, rant about writer’s block, whatever. If you’re waiting for the perfect moment to contribute, spoiler alert: it probably doesn’t exist. Just jump in. And just to be clear, you don’t need to be selling something to post here (in fact, I'd rather you ease off on it). Think of this like a writer’s room, a creative coffee shop, or a slightly chaotic but supportive group chat where we’re all trying to get better at what we do. So go ahead… make a post, show up, and let the rest of us know what you’re working on. We’re here for it.
NEW WEEK MOTIVE

@Rich Gomez An outline definitely definitely helps (with an ending is even better). Sometimes it will shift but at least you know the direction you're headed.

@Taylor Ruf yes, exactly. Many people that their story will get ripped off. I'm more worried (or excited i should say) that that my story will get written exactly the way I want it to be. No one can take that from me.
