🌕 FULL STRAWBERRY MOON IN CAPRICORN — 29/30th JUNE 2026
Your cosmic midyear review has arrived. Tonight's full moon has a name as beautiful as it is meaningful — the Strawberry Moon, named by indigenous Algonquin tribes to mark the season when wild strawberries ripen. It's a moon about honouring what is ready to be harvested in your life. And right now, under Capricorn's steady gaze, the universe is asking you a very direct question: What have you actually been building — and is it still what you want? 🌍 The science bit A full moon happens when the Earth sits between the Sun and Moon, and the Moon's face is fully illuminated. Tonight's is a micromoon — the Moon is near its furthest point from Earth, so it appears slightly smaller and softer in the sky than usual. Don't let that fool you though. The energy is still very much present. Look for it rising after sunset with a gorgeous golden glow — it may appear larger and more amber-toned on the horizon due to the atmosphere bending the light. Worth stepping outside for. ♑ The astrology — Full Moon in Capricorn The Sun is currently in Cancer — the sign of home, heart, and emotional nourishment. The full Moon sits directly opposite in Capricorn — the sign of structure, discipline, ambition, and long-term goals. This opposition creates a beautiful tension between how you feel and what you've built. Between the heart and the hustle. Capricorn energy is earthy, grounded, and no-nonsense. It doesn't deal in wishful thinking — it deals in evidence. So this full moon is essentially holding up a mirror and saying: look at your results. Not to shame you, but to show you the truth. There are some other big players in the sky right now worth noting: 🔁 Mercury stations retrograde TODAY — right alongside this full moon. This is a moment for reflection, not rushing into decisions. Review, revisit, reconsider before acting. 🌫️ Neptune is squaring this moon — which can blur the line between dreams and delusion. This is a nudge to be honest with yourself. Where have you been romanticising a situation rather than seeing it clearly?

@Lea Kendall yes I here you on that. I know my son is so much more responsive when we have intentionally connected. I've worked with a parenting coach and one of the biggest things for me was switching off and being present. So she suggested I set a timer for 15 minutes a day and be present. I can't do anything other than be with one of the boys. Ideally doing it for each child. Then add more time as you can. Or do it a few times on quieter days. Our kids will remember these small moments more than any of the bigs things ir running them about etc.

@Nicky Jones yes I totally agree. I remember playing fighting with my dad or snuggling in their bed for movie night with my favourite sweets. Even as a teenager. When my dad worked away I would sleep in my mums bed and we would eat dinner in bed together and watch TV. All found memories.

Just a quick one today. I wanted to share a favourite song with you, very fitting for todays energy. This song makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Bit of eye candy too, if thats your preference ;-) Enjoy. x https://youtu.be/0E1bNmyPWww?si=mkut8YJwYBzw5eVu

Oh I hadn't heard that before. I let myself settle to the music and I felt myself going in to a soft meditation. He has a lovely voice. Thanks for sharing.
🌙 What's Actually Inside the Premium Membership?
A few people have asked what is included inside the Premium Membership, so I thought I'd give you a little tour. When I created Rooted in Nature, I didn't want it to be another place filled with endless scrolling, adverts and surface-level inspiration. I wanted to create a library. A place where women could learn, grow, reflect, reconnect with nature and feel supported by a community of like-minded souls. Inside you'll currently find: 🌿 Your Wild Food Year — a huge library of seasonal foraging videos, recipes, webinars and plant wisdom (normally £97 on its own). 💎 Crystal Wisdom — a practical and grounded introduction to working with crystals in everyday life. 🌿 Earth Magic — simple rituals, moon wisdom, seasonal living and intention-setting practices. 🌙 The 21 Day Nature Reset — video library of gentle mindfulness practices to help you slow down and reconnect with the natural world. 🌿 Return to Calm — a growing library of nervous system support tools and resources. 📖 Downloadable journals, workbooks and planners, including the Self Reflection Journal, Feminine Energy Workbook and Moon Cycle Tracker. 🤝 Monthly Inner Compass coaching calls, where you'll be guided by me, Lea — an integrative counsellor, coach and nature-based wellbeing practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience supporting personal growth and transformation. 🌙 Seasonal celebration circles where we gather live to explore traditions, rituals, seasonal recipes, journaling prompts and ways to celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year together. And the best part? The library continues to grow month by month. Founding members can currently join for $12 per month and lock in that rate. I've attached a few screenshots below if you'd like to take a peek behind the scenes. And if you're curious about Your Wild Food Year, here's a short video introduction:https://youtu.be/kVyce3QmEF4?si=iAXHptnCt668AWGd If you've been enjoying the free community and wondering what lies beyond the gate, perhaps now is the time to come and explore a little deeper. 🌿✨

Full moon in Sagittarius 🌚🌕
What feels illuminated for me right now is the reminder that I don't have to rush. For a long time I thought that if I just worked harder, pushed more, planned better, or stayed more disciplined, I'd finally get to the point where life felt calmer. What I'm realising is that steadiness isn't something waiting for me at the finish line. It's something I have to practise while I'm building. I'm seeing so much possibility right now in my business, my community, and the impact I want to make. But I'm also being reminded not to miss the details. The details are the slow mornings with my children. The moments of connection. Protecting my capacity. Building a business that fits my life rather than one that asks me to sacrifice it. The next step that feels most important right now is continuing to trust that steady action is enough 💛

Yesterday’s Foraging for Flowers 🌹
After creating the Wild Rose course and researching the plant I was desperate to get out and collect a good amount of petals, I will use some for my teas, and some to infuse into sweet almond oil, ready for a self-love roll on oil. As you can see from the pictures now is the best time for the wild rose, the hedgerows were abundant with the delicate flowers. I also collected red clover flowers and elderflowers ready for some tea combinations. I may go and collect some more today as their season is brief, reminding us that seasons come and go, and to cherish the moment. I also reflected on how despite the roses delicate and gentle petals, the shrub hosts some vicious thorns, while soft it also protects itself, it reminds us of our own vulnerability and femininity, it needs to come with firm boundaries and strength. Our peace should be protected ☮️

They look gorgeous. And what a beautiful analogy about the roses and femininity. I totally resonate with that 😊
