MEMORIZATION: My Quote/Poem of the Week
"If you want a thing Bad Enough to fight" - Les Brown This has been the next quote/poem I've been trying to memorize, just because it gets me FIRED UP! and puts me in a trance like state. I think it's almost lost to time. And I've realized sometimes the most important thing you will share is not your own story, is not your own quote, it'll be someone else's. Chris Eubanks Sr., said something like "everything is copied. Nothing is original. He said that, don't hide your plagiarism, because it's not just where you take it from, it's where you take it to." So I just ask you, are there any quotes, ideas you want to take somewhere? And of course, it coming through you makes it new in a sense, but what do you want to take somewhere? Do you feel have been lost? Do you feel are needed?
Oooooo, that’s a fun one! I love the word play! I’m excited to hear the Tunji version once you’ve mastered it!

I dropped a preview to my speaking course in the chat and I would love your feedback on how I can improve it before I get deeper in the weeds. Click Classroom and let me know your thoughts. PLEASE! I NEED YOU!
COURSE PREVIEW! CHECK IT OUT!
I really like it so far. I appreciate that you talk about the things that seem to be extraneous details. The things that many people think are supposed to come 'naturally' if one is well suited to the task. I think by showing others that you are thoughtful and purposeful and practised in these things, it opens the door for people who do not yet posess that skillset to realize maybe they can acquire it. Talking about the hand gestures is important. It makes a big difference in how the audience will recieve the information. And how the gestures need to be sparked by your true emotion, not just some choreography. (Though choreography is also important sometimes) It's like a dancer. You can see them go through the motions, but when they add the emotion, that's when it becomes beautiful to watch. That is when it turns from movement into art! Feddback-maybe its just me. Maybe I'm old school, but I dislike that new recording feature where the video automatically zooms out and back in when you move. It feels more intimate when you move within the frame, if you adjust in your seat, rather than constantly being centered. But other's might completely disagree and think the opposite. So do with that what you will! lol

The Art of Speaking Challenge #1 🎤✨ I got turnt at the end and my button popped off on the “Let’s Get it!” 😂 @2:58 Our journey begins with one of the most powerful poems of our time: Marianne Williamson’s “Our Deepest Fear.” 💡 The Rules: 1. Once we reach 30 members, the challenge activates. 2. Memorize the full piece and post your video in the group. 3. It’s okay to mess up. You’re supposed to mess it up. What matters is finishing. 🏆 Prizes: - 1st place → Either $100 💵 OR 4 one-on-one consultations with me (nutrition, fitness, writing, curriculum building—your choice). That’s a $1,200 value. - 2nd & 3rd place → One 60-minute consultation each. 📌 This challenge isn’t just about memorizing words—it’s about building confidence, overcoming nerves, and unlocking the voice that’s already inside you. 👉 Invite others to join the group so we can hit 30 members and unlock the challenge. Your deepest fear isn’t that you are inadequate. It’s that you are powerful beyond measure. Let’s prove it together.
@Tunji Adebayo 😂 Same! Stellar year. Lol I was also the best cursive writer in grade 5. So naturally I peaked and continue to still have the same amazing grade 5 handwriting!
I’m ready! Let’s get to 30 members so the challenge can officially start 😎

I am a connector! I love building relationships. I love language and its power to connect us. I also value and use communication in non-verbal forms.
