Midweek Group Call
Let's catch up for a group call next week! 🤍 I sent you an email with the link to our Google Meet session. Please remember to complete the English test practice beforehand, as we will review the answers together during the call. If you're able to join, that's great. If not, the recording will be available in the classroom afterward. Hope to see you there! @Daniela Niamba @Maria Babirye Nassiwa @Alvin Raymond Wu @Martin Krawczyk @Muhammadi Qurbonov @Jiayu Wu 🤍

Hi Marta, I did not received the English test yet.
What’s the Most Challenging Part of Your Journey?
I want to ask you something today, and I really want you to be honest with yourself when you read it: What is the most challenging part of your cabin crew journey right now? I read everything, and I genuinely want to support you in the best way I can. You are not alone 🫂

Thank you Marta🤍for this question. I don’t even know how to start because I have a few. First, not being able to speak in front of others candidates or recruiters. I’m an introvert person and speak up in public is something that can be very difficult especially when it’s not your first language, not being able to say a simple sentence and have a blackout. I know because of you and I’m thanking you for that Marta, I can speak with you and my teammates on our call, maybe because I know them now we have been practicing for few months and I can say that I’m comfortable with them even if I make some mistakes while talking… so that’s 1. Another challenging situation is to sound robotic and not natural answering the questions.. each questions I’m learning them not like a poem but similar and trying to stock them in my head( I understand everything, I know each meaning but to come out it’s hard) and then be natural while speaking. I don’t want the recruiter for example thinking “ she memorize the answers”. Not being good enough, thinking others can make it but not me. I want to prove myself wrong and at the same time proving to myself that I can do it and at the end be proud of me for achieving something so important in my life.
Stay Ready & Keep Your Momentum
Hi everyone! 🤍 I know that the current situation in the Middle East can feel discouraging. But I don’t want you to lose your momentum or give up on your dream. This is exactly the moment where consistency matters the most. Instead of pausing your journey, let’s use this time wisely: to prepare, refine your skills, and stay ready for when the opportunities open again. I’ve sent you the invitation to our group call via email. I hope to see you all there! At the same time, I truly encourage you to stay open-minded and explore opportunities in other regions as well. Sometimes the right path comes from a direction you didn’t expect. There are also international airlines in your own countries, as well as carriers like Virgin Atlantic, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and others worth exploring. Keep going, stay consistent, and trust your journey. The right opportunity always comes at the right time

Thank you Marta🤍 for always giving us such an important message about how to be better and to help us stay in the loop and not be discouraged during this difficult period of time in the Middle East. This journey for me is becoming more stressful, frustrating.. first waiting 5 more months to apply to my dream airline and then stepping into another airline that is moving slow with uncertainty. About working for an airline in my country, I’m forcing myself to take the risk and apply but to be honest I’m just not interested, I don’t know how to explain but my mind, my soul is somewhere else. I know I’m making a mistake not trying but my heart is already in the Middle East, because I don’t want to get into a random airline and then thinking after a year or two that I need to prepare again to join the airline that I’m dreaming about. I don’t want to give up, I know it’s hard..I need to have a lot of patience and understanding be resilient and trusting myself and my mentor. I know I will be waiting for several months and I’m willing to do that until my day comes with you Marta by my side. Thank you Marta for helping me open up and share my thoughts😊🤍
One piece of advice
Hi everyone, I’m sharing my new YouTube video where I talk about one important thing: don’t limit yourself to just one airline unless it is truly the ONLY one you feel fully aligned with. This is a mistake I made myself, and I see so many aspiring cabin crew repeating it. Please watch the video and let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help 🤍

Thank you Marta for your video, for sharing thoughtful advice and opening my eyes on extending my choices.. after receiving another rejection from Etihad (maybe because of the situation there) I’m happy to visualize myself in another airline and I’m thankful for helping me get there Marta😊
Group Calls Update
Hi everyone 🤍 I’d love to hear your thoughts on the frequency of our group calls. I’m thinking we could move to meeting every two weeks, especially as the recruitment process with Middle Eastern airlines is quite slow at the moment. This would give you more time to prepare, practice, and apply what we cover without feeling overwhelmed. Before each call, I will share the exact topic in advance so you can decide if it’s relevant for your current stage of preparation. For example: - Emirates group discussion practice - Etihad card activity practice - Riyadh Air introduction practice - Cabin crew Q&A - STAR & LAST practice This way, you can join the sessions that truly support your progress and focus on what you need most. Let me know what you think @Daniela Niamba @Maria Babirye Nassiwa @Alvin Raymond Wu @Jiayu Wu @Martin Krawczyk

Hi Marta, I love this idea… we can have more time to practice, prepare and build more confidence together, and especially like you mentioned the Middle East is going slow on recruitment.
