Your HighLevel AI can now text new leads first
What if your agency had a full team... and it was just you? HighLevel just took a real step in that direction. Conversation AI agents can now start the conversation instead of waiting for the lead to text in. Here's how it works. Something happens in the CRM (a form comes in, a Facebook or Google lead ad fires, a call gets missed, a tag is added, an appointment is booked, a deal moves stage) and the agent sends that person a personal text right away. If they go quiet, it can follow up up to 5 times and book the appointment. It also respects working hours. A lead that comes in at 2 AM gets a text when the business opens, not in the middle of the night. Why this matters for us: speed to lead is the thing most local businesses lose on. They're on a job, the phone rings, nobody calls back. Now you can set this up once inside the agent, no workflow to build, and every lead hears back in seconds. A use case I like: a roofer misses a call while he's on a roof. The agent texts back, asks what they need, and gets the inspection on the calendar before he climbs down. Heads up: it's in Labs right now (Settings → Labs → Conversation AI | Outbound AI Agents), it's SMS only, and you need A2P approved and a sending number before it'll go out. @Winnielee Chuus Love this, Winnielee!! That's exactly the point, leads get a reply in seconds and clients notice. Mind if I share your screenshot as a win on Thursday's Q&A?

@Winnielee Chuus Ha, that's half the fun, Winnielee! We'll retrace it together on the Q&A so everyone can turn it on.
HighLevel's Top 10 releases for November (in under 10 minutes)
HighLevel just dropped its monthly Release Radar, and Ryan and Emma run through the top 10 releases in under 10 minutes. If you're building your agency solo, a few of these are going to save you real hours. My top picks for a one-person agency: • AI Studio now sells and takes payments. Products straight from your CRM, two-step checkout, custom fields, and order details after checkout. AI Studio sites are no longer just a pretty front end. • AI Studio has a built-in cloud back end. One click turns it on, and you get databases, user logins and API support, so you can build things like a client dashboard where customers log in and see their progress. No third-party tools needed. • Tags for sub-accounts at the agency level, with your own colors. It's an easy way to keep your client list organized as you grow. • Centralized schema management for funnels and websites. You can now see which pages are missing or have outdated schema markup (the stuff that helps AI understand your site) and fix them from one SEO tab instead of page by page. • Faster Conversation AI tuning. When a test chat goes sideways, you can jump straight into the prompt optimizer from that chat. It's a Labs feature, so turn it on in Labs if you don't see it yet. Also in the video: internal comments right in the conversation composer, new workflow triggers and actions for Events (now out of beta), and snapshot support for the new custom field types. They also preview what's coming soon: keyword search across all conversations, and one-tap Ask AI shortcuts in the mobile app. Why this matters: every one of these means less duct tape between tools and less clicking around. That's how one person runs like a full team. Watch it here 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3dMlG72hRc Which one are you trying first? Drop it below 👇 Don't have HighLevel yet? Keep your client's phone number and still text from HighLevel
One of the most common things I hear from local business owners: "I'm not changing my number. Everyone has it." Fair. And now they don't have to. HighLevel launched Hosted Numbers. It lets you turn on texting in HighLevel for a number your client already owns, while their calls stay with their current carrier. It's not a port. Nothing gets transferred. Only the text messages run through LC Phone. Why this matters for a one-person agency: the phone number objection kills a lot of deals. The number on the truck, the Google profile, and the business cards stays the same. You just plug texting into the CRM so missed-call text back, review requests, and AI replies all come from the number customers already know. A use case: a dentist office has had the same landline for 20 years and loves their phone system. You host that number for SMS, and patients can now text the front desk to confirm or move appointments, all inside HighLevel. What you need to know: • It's in Labs for agency owners and admins • Eligible US local and toll-free numbers, one number per request • Your client verifies ownership, gives a US service address, and signs an authorization • A2P (or toll-free verification) still has to be done before texting Has a client ever pushed back on switching numbers? How did you handle it? 👇 Don't have HighLevel yet? @Winnielee Chuus Great question, Winnielee! Landlines (and toll-free numbers) are the sweet spot, but regular cell numbers can't be hosted. VoIP depends on the provider. A lot of them, like RingCentral, can work as long as texting isn't already turned on with them (Google Voice is a no). Bring any client numbers you're not sure about to Thursday's Q&A at 12 MT and we'll check them together!

@Winnielee Chuus Ha, noted, Winnielee! 😂 No problem on Thursday. Let's plan to dig into it together at next week's Q&A. Bring your number questions!
Your HighLevel AI Agent can now search the web
Quick one today, but it's a good one. The AI Agent action in HighLevel workflows now has a Web search toggle. Flip it on and the agent can look things up online in the middle of a run when it needs info it doesn't already have. You can also paste specific page URLs into its instructions, so it checks the sources you trust first and searches for everything else. Why this matters: your client's business info changes. Prices, rebates, local rules, seasonal offers. Before, the agent only knew what you gave it. Now it can check the facts at the moment it needs them, so you're not the one updating it every week. HighLevel's own example is a good one. A heating and cooling company gets a lead asking about heat pump rebates. The agent reads the rebate page you pointed it to before replying, and if the question goes past that page, it searches the web for the answer. Cost is small: about 1 cent per search (a little more on Gemini models), and only when the agent actually searches. You'll find it under Automation → Workflows → AI Agent action → Built-in tools.
