Cocktails and Conversation April 16
Hiya Dan. Can’t wait until the “Cocktails and Conversation”, and Barrington’s “Third Thursday Art Night Out” when you come show the whole town how awesome Deprato Rigali and the work you all do and the work you are all doing on the historic Beautiful Catlow Theater! Should be a great night on April 16th! First part is sold out, but your fans can come at 6:00 for free at Barrington’s White House to have free apps, music, and view your projects! Woohoo!!

The Baháʼí House of Worship
This is one of my favorite buildings in the Chicagoland area. It is located in Wilmette, IL. Here is some info from the wikipedia page: The temple was designed by French-Canadian architect Louis Bourgeois (1856–1930), who received design feedback from ʻAbdu'l-Bahá during a 1920 visit to Haifa. To convey the Baháʼí principle of the unity of religion, Bourgeois incorporated a variety of religious architecture and symbols. Although ʻAbdu'l-Bahá participated in a groundbreaking ceremony in 1912 that laid a cornerstone, construction began in earnest in the early 1920s and was significantly delayed by the Great Depression and World War II. Construction resumed in 1947, and the temple was dedicated in a ceremony in 1953. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bah%C3%A1%CA%BC%C3%AD_House_of_Worship_(Wilmette,_Illinois)

Not a far drive from the city of Chicago and the temple is usually open to visitors. Some of the most amazing architectural detail and ornamental artwork is found inside. Strongly recommend a trip for anyone looking to explore a very unique architectural building.

@John Vasilion Great info John thanks for sharing. Right up near your neck of the woods if I recall. Love your use of the word 'coherent' here. Bullseye.
Amazing mosaic. From sketch to stone:

Portage Park Theater - Chicago, IL
Community member @Chris Bauman is actually a new owner of an iconic theater in Chicago that I think is important. The interior of the Portage Theater in Chicago is a distinctive blend of French Neoclassical and Art Deco styles, reflecting its history as a "transitional" movie palace from the 1920s.. Congrats @Chris Bauman - excited to see what the future holds for this Architecturally Artistic/significant building and your revitalization efforts/experience are sure to bring value to the people of Chicago and the local community.
