Hello everyone, I’m happy to say I was able to land a full time remote job! It was a long journey, filled with ambiguity and for myself had quite a bit of risk involved. I left my job a few months before landing my remote job. I was stuck in a job I hated in a city that I couldn’t justify the high cost and low value for. So in my case necessity was the mother of invention, but I don’t suggest taking the same route. It’s still early days for myself, but I am starting to see a way out. If anything at least a little breathing room to build the life that I want. I’m hoping in the coming months things will start to turn in my favor, just keeping my head down while having a greater vision in mind. We’re all on the same journey, so I hope your time will come as well!

Hey everyone! I’m Daniel Ortiz. Just recently joined. Hoping to interact with everyone and here. I am from Los Angeles , California. I’ve worked mostly in Blue collar jobs and Food industry most of my life. My current life goal is trying to figure out how to work remotely and live abroad. I currently have a long time LDR relationship with a Filipina that lives in Philippines. My hope is to move to Philippines and make a stable living to provide a good life for future family. I found remote freedom community from Austin’s TikTok videos. Austin invited me to join after reaching out to him. I was inspired by him to purse the digital nomad lifestyle I hope to achieve one day. Just getting started here and excited to learn the ropes!
