Breaching funded account challenge account in phase 2
Here is a lesson I have learnt the hard way. On Friday I took a buy set up on spx500 and held the trade over the weekend. I had a Stop Loss in place risking 1 percent, On Monday the market opened with a gap, causing the trade to close beyond my intended Stop Loss and resulting in a bigger loss than expected of 3.7 percent . I breached the account due to this -the account had a 4 percent daily loss limit. Honestly I felt frustrated but I take responsibility for that Lesson learned: A Stop Loss doesn’t eliminate weekend gap risk. Protect the account, avoid unnecessary weekend exposure, Back to the drawing board Fixing the trader first. 💪📈

@Ndungu Njoroge very true ,it's better to protect capital than to blow. Is it all news or the high impact ones?

@Ndungu Njoroge thanks for letting me know. I will be mindful of that
THE COMMITMENT POST
🏠 Welcome home. One comment starts everything. Comment below, exactly this, in your own words: "I commit to the daily check-in and to fixing the trader first." That comment is step 1 of the Founding Trader challenge: ① This comment ② Your intro post (with your biggest weakness — you already told us at the door, now own it publicly) ③ Five consecutive End-of-Day check-ins. Complete all three within your first 14 days and you're a full member. The first 100 to finish become Founding Traders — for life: the badge, locked founding prices on everything we ever release, your name on the Founders' Wall. The race counter updates here. Current Founding Traders: 0/100.

Day 2 of daily check in and fixing the trader Last week trades audit 1. Total trades taken =5 2. A setups total = 3/5 - 60% 3 . B setups total= 2/5- 40% 4.risk per trade = 1% 5 .target profit = 2% 6.wins =2 7.Lost=2 8. Breakeven =1 Reflection - if I had taken A set ups only I could be 4% up but now I'm up 2% One habit to cut this week - impatience while awaiting confirmations

8 days ago my biggest challenge was the desire to make more money ending up overisking my trades then I learnt this from the free classroom section: -Every position you open is paying rent to the market. Small, deliberate positions pay small rent. Oversized ones bleed you before you're even wrong- Pairing this with the end of day check ins is really making my risk per trades consistent . At day 8 I commit to continue with the daily check in and to fixing the trader first.
TECHNICAL ISSUE.
Hello everyone. I’m currently experiencing a technical issue with the skool platform due to a declined subscription payment required to keep the skool platform running. I am trying to make the payment but it keeps declining. As a result, I’m unable to unmute myself or share my video, since the icons cannot show up from below as shown on the screen. Which means we may unfortunately have to miss today’s session. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Once the issue is resolved, we will make sure to do a full recap of today’s planned class during our next session so that no one misses out on the content. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
