My cold email domains keep getting burned. What are we doing wrong, and what does an ideal infra look like for 4 campaigns?
Hi all, I run cold outreach for an agency and a few clients. I keep losing domains to blacklists and bad reputation while campaigns are live, and I don't know whether the cause is my setup or just the cost of cold email. I'd like to hear what you would fix, and what an ideal setup looks like. My setup - About 14 domains and 40 mailboxes (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365), 3 mailboxes per domain, sending through Smartlead - 4 campaigns at once, with roughly 14, 10, 10 and 6 mailboxes - 20-25 sends a day per mailbox - SPF, DKIM and DMARC on every domain The problems I'm having 1. A domain got listed on SURBL (ABUSE). It is also my public website, and it's the sending domain for three mailboxes. Those mailboxes have only run warm-up, and none was in a campaign in my sequencer. I don't know what triggered the listing. 2. Two other lookalike domains bought around the same time got listed on SURBL too. I don't know whether that's a coincidence. 3. Two Outlook mailboxes on my oldest domain keep getting worse. Warm-up reputation fell from 73% to 66-69% in two days, and about a third of warm-up mail lands in spam. The domain isn't blacklisted and DNS passes. They run two live campaigns. 4. New mailboxes show 3-4% bounce on warm-up mail after about 8 days. I'm not sure whether that's normal or a warning sign. 5. One shared hosting IP on a domain is listed on SpamRats. It's the website host, not the mail server. 6. A few old mailboxes are on a cheap shared host with DMARC at p=none. I stopped using them for cold email, but I'm not sure I handled them correctly. 7. I only found these problems by running a report by hand. I had no alerts, and I found one listing days late. What I'm asking 1. Why do you think this keeps happening? Is it my list quality, my copy, my volume, my link or tracking setup, or just normal wear for cold email domains? 2. How do I get a SURBL listing removed? Does it work for cold email domains, and does it stay clean? Or do you always replace the domain?

The missing alerts stand out here. Even a daily summary of authentication failures, bounce reasons, and new listings would give you a clearer timeline of what changed first.
Developer here, if anyone needs AI agents, websites or apps built
Hey everyone, I'm Nilesh, Saw a lot of people here running outbound for clients or for their own agency, so I thought I'd drop this. If you or your clients need something built, I can help with: - AI agents and automations (lead research, email/WhatsApp follow-ups, voice agents, internal tools) - Full end to end complex Websites and landing pages - Software's - AI models , AI integration, etc - Mobile apps (Android/iOS) So far I've built 40+ websites and apps for clients in Japan, India and the USA. I also contribute to open source. 25+ of my code fixes have been reviewed and merged into projects run by Microsoft, Google, Apple, Uber, Netflix, Cloudflare, LinkedIn and OpenAI. You can see all of them on my GitHub: https://github.com/nileshpatil6 One of my own products is Keepi, an AI second brain app. You tell it anything and it remembers it, and you can ask it questions later by voice or text. It got 300+ users in the first 20 days. Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keepi.orangexlab Website: https://keepiai.com My portfolio with the rest of my work: https://nileshpatil6.com If you've got something in mind, or a client asking for something you don't build yourself, comment here or DM me. Happy to have a quick chat and tell you honestly if it's a fit.

Keepi sounds interesting. Can users update something it remembers when older information is no longer accurate?
In the US and good with clients? I build the AI
I'm Rui, AI/ML and full-stack dev, 7+ years, based in the Philippines. My work: ruijin2026.vercel.app A lot of small businesses in the US want AI built, but they'd rather work with someone local. That's the part I can't do from here. So I'm looking for someone in the US who's good at talking to clients, while I do the building. You'd earn from every project we land. Not a job, more of a side thing. If you freelance or just like working with clients, comment below, DM me here, or message me on Telegram (@ruijindev0801) and I'll tell you more.

Starting with one small paid project sounds like a sensible way to test the working relationship before committing to something bigger.
