Starting my first granny square blanket. Looks Like it’s going to Take me a while to Complete!

I’m a complete beginner at crocheting. Over the last four years, I’ve watched my mom crochet so many cardigans and blankets for my daughter, and thanks to her I know a few basic stitches. I’ve always wanted to learn how to crochet and knit—my grandma was amazing at it—so I finally decided to take the plunge. I’m starting my journey by trying to crochet a cardigan for my 4½-year-old daughter. Wish me luck!

So doing a sock from toe up (learning something new) Now thinking about the leg part to cable or not... While I'm at it let teach myself to knit the continental way... Plus Thinking what I should do next... Why... Anyone else do the same?

Tried my first amigurumi…not the best job but hopefully will get better. The mouth looks weird!
