But if you’re serious about becoming a booked & paid makeup artist… This is where you lean in. Refine your skill. Study your craft. Work on your business. Because the ones who win? They don’t wait for Monday. They use Saturday to get ahead. So the question is Are you working… or just watching?

Let’s get something straight. If you don’t learn how to be selfish with your time, your energy, and your focus… you will stay average. Being selfish is not toxic. Being selfish is strategic. Selfish means: • You protect your mornings. • You say no to distractions. • You stop explaining your vision to people who don’t have one. • You invest in education instead of gossip. • You choose growth over comfort. You cannot build a real business while trying to be available for everyone. If you want 6 figures, structure, and stability… you have to prioritize YOU. Your goals. Your development. Your discipline. Stop overextending. Stop people-pleasing. Stop shrinking so others feel comfortable. This week, be selfish about: ✔ Your learning ✔ Your brand ✔ Your standards ✔ Your money Because the truth is nobody will take your career as serious as you do. And if you don’t protect your future, someone else will gladly waste your present. Let’s elevate. Now ask yourself: What do I need to cut off this week to level up?

YOU SHOULD TRY THIS IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO BETTER. Try tracking yourself for 7 days. Not your clients. Not your followers. Not your excuses. Track YOU. - How many hours did you actually practice? - How many posts did you make without overthinking? - How many times did you reach out to potential clients? - How much money did you invest back into your growth? - How many distractions did you allow? Most makeup artists say they want more… More bookings. More confidence. More income. But they don’t track the behavior that produces it. You don’t rise because you wish to. You rise because your habits force you to. Try being honest with yourself for one week. No stories. No blaming the algorithm. No blaming slow seasons. Just data. Because once you see the truth about your effort, you’ll know exactly why you’re where you are — and exactly what needs to change. Growth isn’t emotional. It’s behavioral.
