What do you find most challenging about improving your skills?

Hey guys, I've always used amp modelers like the Helix and Kemper, but I'm looking to build a pedal board. I have a Strymon Timeline, but that's all I have right now. What are some of your favorite pedals and some must haves? Thanks! Happy Practicing!

I’ll go first. When I was first starting off on the worship team back in high school, my friends and I would help out in the kids area every once in a while when they would have movie days (Veggie Tales). We would be in charge of making the popcorn and handing out the snacks to the kids. After the first music set before the message, I would go help out and make popcorn during the Pastor’s sermon. Unfortunately, I lost track of time and headed back to the main service to go back on stage for the closing song. The rest of the band was already on stage and I could see that the preacher was praying just like he normally did at the end of his messages. So I hurried on stage not thinking anything of it, and I put my guitar on and was ready to play the closing song. I then realized that the band had ALREADY FINISHED the closing song and that the pastor decided to come up and pray after to dismiss the congregation. My dad was serving on drums that weekend, and he was absolutely livid that I missed the closing song…That was the last time I had ever missed a closing song.
