Excited to meet all of you!
Hi everyone, I’m Ayse. I’m focused on multifamily and land development opportunities across the U.S. I’m actively looking for off-market deals and enjoy connecting with brokers, investors, wholesalers, and other deal hunters who are sourcing quality opportunities. Looking forward to networking, sharing insights, and building valuable relationships within the group.

The First Deal Reality Check Truth
Your first deal is not about making money. It’s about: - Learning the process - Building confidence - Proving to yourself you can do it If you focus only on profit, you’ll hesitate and miss opportunities. Question: What’s currently stopping you from getting your first deal?

Brokers are dismissing me...
I've had a few brokers seemingly dismiss me after I start asking them questions about a property that they listed. I'm starting off by asking 2-3 specific questions about the property based on the listing- vacancy, major updates, etc. Then, asking for P/L or rent roll numbers. After that they say to text them my email address so they can send me the docs and they never get back to me. Am I encountering bad brokers? Am I potentially sounding like a noob that they think can't make a deal happen? And with that- how frequently should I follow up?

Hey Jared. What you're describing doesn't necessarily mean you're dealing with bad brokers, and it doesn't automatically mean you're coming across as a "noob" either. Just remember the broker's job is to figure out if you're serious and you have the ability to close. Since you new at this... Try leading off with: "I'm actively looking to acquire my first multifamily property and have financing lined up." Also include your market focus, Number of units you're looking for, estimated acquisition range, ect (aka.. your buy box). This let's the broker know you're not just collecting information But SERIOUSLY looking. The goal is to convince the broker you're a buyer. And ALWAYS remember to follow up!
