No tracks for me this week purely working on sound design and working on the advice to use better drums. Working my head around addictive drums 2 and also trialing the use of xln life. That plugin is a lot of fun recording sounds and making patterns.

Awesome feedback guys I haven't learnt the mixing part yet. So that definitely needs to be added. And yep your right I should be using splice drums. Drums is something I really struggle with. I just made all the bass and what not using drift which I am obsessed with. One day when I can afford it I will get full Ableton and also I think serum is a must by the looks of things. Is their any way to get the student discount for Ableton.

All of it haha. I have zero music background and am learning Piano. I love making music but with no background and knowledge it is such a maze. But to be fair the biggest struggle is finding a style and genre to start with and staying on a track long enough to actually make something worthwhile.

@Beau McLeod yeah that's the problem I want to try all the genres. I'm almost finished the course on Udemy by Simon stokes and once I've done that I'll do your free course then I will have enough basic knowledge of Ableton and will think about signing up. If I can see myself spending the time on the music production as a hobby.
