Hi @Mone Takagi , I'd like to participate, at least to listen, since it would be my first time. But I have this question: Since I'm in Argentine, we're 12 hours away from Japan time. But looking at the community calendar, the meeting is listed as June 30th at 6 PM, which I think would be 6 AM Japan time on July 1st. But the post says July 1st at 6 PM Japan time, which I think would be 6 AM in Argentine, on July 1st. Is the meeting set up correctly on the calendar? Because I was just thinking of saying that 8 PM would be better for me, which should be 8 AM in Argentine. But if the meeting is set up correctly, I'd be able to connect without any problems, at 6PM.

Thanks!! @Mone Takagi I'll look for the GENKI textbook and watch the videos. I think it might be difficult to learn to read. Just one question: the alphabet is called "Kanji," I think. Can I learn to read through phonetics? Each symbol is pronounced in a specific way? I'm not sure how the Japanese alphabet works. For now, I'd like to learn to speak and be able to understand a conversation. Be able to speak the basics.
