What happened to me with Instagram is no small thing. I want to share it.
Some time ago, I posted a carousel with two photos and a very powerfull message. The first: my silhouette, carefully edited on VSCO. Art, shadow, form. The original was intimate, in underwear, but the edit protected my space and intention. The second: a mural showing only the eyes of a girl. I cropped it directly on Instagram and applied a filter. Everything calculated. Everything planned. Until, a few hours later, Instagram altered my post without warning. The second photo started showing the full face of the girl, without the filter and without cropping. Changed by itself. As if I had never edited it. What if the image that changed by itself was mine? What if Instagram erased the edit of my body? That question sent chills down my spine. Because what we share on social media is not just an image: it is a boundary, a choice, a form of care. Today I learned that even what we think is under control can change. So, to those who create with heart, I leave this: ✔️ Edit outside the app. ✔️ Save your versions. ✔️ Listen to your intuition. ✔️ Don’t be afraid to delete what no longer resonates. Because our energy also changes. And if something doesn’t feel right… it’s not a whim. It’s protection. (I must confess, chatgpt helped me to create this post to make my story clear. The next post here, i will copy a little bit the format, but i'll write all by myself.) Thanks for reading🤗
