Passion of the Christ
Hey all! I have a praise!!! I’ve been praying for our daughter’s relationship with God. I want to share this amazing experience we had with our 5 year old daughter. Wise people advised us not to let our 5 year daughter watch the passion of Christ and we normally listen to wise counsel but sadly my wife and I realize with society these days, our kids are being exposed to things far to young and not at our knowledge so we made the decision. We watched the Passion as a family on Good Friday… best decision we ever made. We paused the movie about 50 times explaining what the bible said during certain parts and answered her many questions. Her short tension span had last 3/4 of the movie and we have seen this past week her faith grow tremendously!!! So if your having second thoughts about your kids being to young. Go for it! And also I was tearing up during the movie, really hard not to be touched by what our savior endured. My daughter grabbed tissue and comforted me. It was a special moment for us. I could tell that she know how Important Jesus is in our hearts and lives. We also prayed before and after the movie for Gods guidance and Holy Spirit to be present with us! I hope this helps!!

@Linda Fenwick right that’s what I told my wife. My aunt had me watching Freddy Krueger at like six years old in the movie theaters and I was like this is about God and it’s much better than exposing kids to horrible films like what I experienced
A Simple Reframe For Hard "Fruitless" Moments
I gave @Kenneth Harley 's struggle about the fruit of the spirit some thought and rather than some lengthy article, I'd rather give out something actionable: A tool like a mental net so that we can begin to take more of our thoughts captive as we walk along the path and strive for the straight and narrow. When life starts to feel heavy, try this. Instead of asking: “Why is this happening to me?” Ask: “What is God growing in me through this?" Let Frustration Become Formation. Let Resistance Become Purpose.

Introductions & Inquiries
Hello, everyone! Finally got around to writing this, I've been looking forward to meeting you. I'm Erik, born and raised in NE Ohio for 26 years so far. I've worn quite a few hats over the years but I consider myself a writer and problem solver above all else. Given that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, I've found that writing about and with Him has solved every problem I've given Him. I hope to help who I can in this community and learn together on our walk with the Lord. All that being said, what are you struggling with at the moment?

@Erik Doran I guess a good example of this would be to try and remain joyful even when things or life gets a little messy and just to remember that it’s all on God’s hands and to trust in him and his plan

This week!!!
Hey y’all! This week it would be an amazing week if everybody tried to add some scripture into Bible talk. With Palm Sunday, Good Friday Resurrection Sunday the last supper there’s a lot to talk about! God is so good to every single one of us. I will be posting in here soon. There is some studies that I’m going to be doing today! I hope everybody has a blessed week.

Happy palm Sunday 🌴
Happy Palm Sunday! 🌿 Today we remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, when people welcomed Him with palm branches and joyful praise. May this special day remind us to open our hearts to Christ, walk in humility, and trust in God’s perfect love and salvation. May your life be filled with peace, hope, and the blessings of our Lord as we prepare our hearts for the victory of Easter. ✝️🙏
