When I started as a sports mindset coach I had no idea how to build a business... All I knew was that I had to create content and if the planets aligned in my favour, I would get some clients. I was getting clients from that but not as many as I wanted... And then, I was watching other coaches posting less than I was doing, having less experience in the sport than I had, and still, somehow, getting more clients than me... And it all started... frustration, anxiety, anger - all because in my opinion others were better than me at this game... My biggest mistake? At that point I completely ignored all the positives in my business, and my skills... instead I was focusing on all the negatives of my struggle. Today I see many good coaches who struggle to grow their business not because they don't have the skills, but because they focus on all negative aspects and lack of skills or resources. They believe that they need another "business blueprint" when in reality they need to maximise what they already have... What about you? Did you ever experience this? Are you focusing more on what's missing rather than maximising what you already have? I must admit that I still have periods of time when I get distracted by what's missing instead of maximising what I already have.... but hey... I guess we are constantly a "work in progress" ✨
