I'm the second person to join this community, and honestly, I'm glad to be here early. Building something from the start is always interesting. I'm 40 years old and I've been in industrial automation for 20 years now. Currently I'm an automation manager, so my days are filled with PLCs, SCADA, integration work, and managing both projects and people. I'm married with two kids, ages 6 and 8. Weekends are for the zoo, and when they're older, roller coasters. That's non-negotiable. When I'm not working I run, fix things around the house, and read when there's time. But here's the thing. I'm not here just to introduce myself. I'm here because I want to help. I've spent two decades dealing with real problems, like stubborn PLC bugs, SCADA systems that don't behave, projects that go sideways, and teams that need direction. If you're stuck on something, ask. If I can help, I will. And if I don't know the answer, I'll tell you straight. Then we figure it out together. No problems unsolved. My goal with my own company is standardized processes and healthy margins. Not for vanity, but because I want to show my kids what good work looks like.
