Who here plays sax? I will admit, I played alto sax but only for 1-on-1 sessions for one semester, my last semester at UNT. And in 2020 I bought the cheapest soprano sax you can buy from Amazon and spent some time with it but rarely play it now. Did you know that the saxophone has basically the same fingerings as flute?! I find it culturally fascinating that sax players are expected to improvise (though many can't) and most flute players never expect to improvise (though many can... or could, if they'd let go of the sheet music!). This picture made me laugh. Sax... and clarinet too... can definitely sound like a wild goose!! Haha. Apparently someone 3D printed these "goose" sax headjoints and sold them on Etsy!!! Unfortunately now they're sold out

I started playing it but didn't go any further, just some notes! Maybe I could use it to improvise, I usually feel more free with it than flute (maybe because I'm a total beginner at it?). This headjoint is gorgeous now I want one!

@Vic Wheeler the kind of dog I think would be my spirit animal is border collie, like mine. She's very active (maybe a little too much) and even she's a little chaotic her energy is great and contagious!
