🚀The Power of Passion🚀
This week reminded me just how much passion fuels perseverance. 💡💪 My son just started a brand new graphic design program 🎨💻—at a completely different high school. He’s the first and only student from his school to take part. Talk about being a pioneer and trailblazer! 🥇🔥 It wasn’t easy. The transportation wasn’t figured out until the third day of school 🚌😅. But he didn’t let that stop him. His passion for design kept him motivated and determined to make it happen. That’s the power of passion: ✨ It gives teens the courage to step into the unknown. ✨ It fuels them to push through challenges. ✨ It shows them that their dreams are worth the effort. As parents, when we support their passions, we help unlock this unstoppable energy. 💖🙌 💭 Question for you: Where have you seen your child’s passion give them the strength to overcome obstacles?

Self care/Parent Power Hour
Hello beautiful souls! I have been struggling with going back and forth of whether to change the Parent Power Hour time. Many seem to prefer the 4:00 time slot, so I’m going to keep it at that time. ⏰✨ However, that means I can’t do it at the regularly scheduled time until May 12. Honestly, I feel this is the universe telling me to take a break and do some self care. 🌌💆‍♀️ As many of you know, the kiddo is in full swing for tennis season. 🎾 And with a chronic illness, I am in survival mode. 🌀 Things only get more hectic and intense until the season ends. So I’m going to take a step back from meetings and look to resume for that date in May. I so appreciate your patience and support during this time. 🙏 If I’m not careful, I’ll end up down for weeks—and then I’m no help to anyone. ❤️‍🩹

Expanding the Circle/Parent Power Hour
Hello beautiful souls! This past weekend I had the wonderful privilege of sitting in on a parent meeting with parents of young adults. I will have the honor of presenting to them next month about our platform here and the support we can offer in career exploration. A few things came of out that meeting for me: 🦋Instead of only targeting teens I feel a need to expand services to young adults 🦋Parents of young adults still need support especially if those young adults are struggling 🦋Parents of children with addiction can benefit from a great amount of support Have you ever had the same thing cross your path multiple times? When that happens I have learned to pay attention to it. Universe will keep tapping me on the head until I listen. In the past few weeks I've come in contact with several parents of children who have graduated college or through life circumstances are young adults and still have not found their career passion. These parents need support too! So I will be expanding the scope of the group to include not just teens in high school but to young adults as well. If you would like to be a part of that conversation, don't forget to join us for Parent Power Hour today at 4pm EST. Click here for the meeting. Tips for the Parent Power Hour meeting: ✳️The meeting link is to a Go Brunch room so if you have not set up a free account there please do so before the meeting begins. ✳️To get the full effect of the Go Brunch experience, please log in on your laptop I hope to see you there!

"Bridging the Distance: A Dad’s Unwavering Love"
Being a dad is one of the most meaningful roles I’ve ever had, but sometimes, it’s also the most heartbreaking. I’ve always tried to show up, to be present, and to do everything I can to let my daughters know how much I love them. And yet, there’s this distance I can’t seem to bridge—a space that feels so much bigger than I want it to be. I don’t have all the answers, and maybe I never will, but being their dad means I’ll keep showing up. I’ll keep trying. I’ll keep loving them, even from a distance, because that’s what being a parent is about—loving unconditionally, no matter how hard it gets. If you’ve ever felt this way as a parent, you’re not alone. I think we’re all just doing the best we can, hoping that one day, they’ll see it.
Welcome New Members!
Welcome @Paul Vato and @Ester Mizrahi I would also like to thank Ester for her patience while we got her into the Skool group and were trying to get her into the Parent Power Hour. Luckily, I was able to call her on the Owwll app and help her get into our group. As a parent during the holidays what is your priority?

The challenge is that she is much closer to her Mom than me but I need to learn to be okay with that
