Seeking God Together as a Community
Faith was never meant to be lived alone. In a world that often encourages independence and self-reliance, God invites us into something deeper—community. A place where we can grow together, pray together, and walk through life side by side, strengthening one another in faith. We believe that seeking God is more powerful when done together. When we gather as a community, we create a space where hearts are encouraged, burdens are shared, and faith is strengthened. We remind each other of God’s promises when one of us feels weak, and we celebrate His goodness in every victory, big or small. Community is where we find support in difficult seasons and joy in the good ones. It’s where we learn that we are not alone in our struggles, doubts, or questions. Instead, we are surrounded by people who point us back to God, lifting us up when we need it most. Seeking God together means choosing connection over isolation. It means being present, being open, and being willing to grow—not just individually, but collectively. Because when we pursue God as one, our faith becomes stronger, deeper, and more rooted in His truth. You don’t have to walk this journey alone. There is strength in unity. There is power in community. And together, we can continue seeking God—growing in faith, love, and purpose as one.

Good morning! Prayer is our weapon in battling conflicts and temptations in our lives. The more praying for a certain situation the mightier those prayers are. I have two face to face friends. One is a wonderful mentor in my life. The other is on the same path as I and we struggle, study, pray and grow together. I'm meeting new people here that are struggling like I am and we can pray for each other. Life is meant to walk with God. But where do we walk if we're not talking and listening to God. Pray and read His word.
Covering Family With Consistent Praye
There is power in prayer—especially when it comes to our family. In a world full of uncertainties, challenges, and unseen battles, one of the greatest things we can do for the people we love is to consistently lift them up in prayer. It may seem simple, quiet, even unseen—but prayer is never small. It reaches where we cannot go and touches what we cannot control. We are reminded that covering our family in prayer is an act of love, faith, and trust in God. It’s choosing to surrender their lives, their struggles, their dreams, and their future into His hands—believing that He knows what is best for them. Consistent prayer isn’t about perfect words. It’s about a faithful heart. It’s waking up and choosing to pray even when you’re tired. It’s whispering a prayer in the middle of your busy day. It’s trusting God to protect, guide, and provide for your family even when you don’t see immediate results. Every prayer matters. Every word is heard. Every moment spent in prayer makes a difference. You may not always see the impact right away, but God is working behind the scenes—covering, protecting, and moving in ways only He can. So keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. Because when you cover your family in consistent prayer, you are placing them in the safest hands they could ever be in—God’s.

I pray not only for family but the people who have been in an accident that I'm passing on the highway, the rude woman at the deli counter, my doctor that I will see today and so on. Prayer is such a strong approach to handling drama in your life. But my first prayer of the day is to hand that day to God. To give me strength, to handle jealousy or anger toward drama that day. To remind me God's always in control. Prayer is something I can do that certain family members don't know I'm doing it for them. I have a daughter-in-law who has gone through breast cancer. She doesn't want me praying for her. But I do anyway. Prayer is my secret weapon. I'm actually working on my prayer room. No one can interrupt me and my prayer list is always there hanging in front of me so I don't forget anyone. Prayer is all of our's secret weapon. Remember.
Freedom Rooted in Truth
True freedom isn’t found in doing whatever we want—it’s found in knowing who we are and whose we are. So often, the world defines freedom as living without limits, following every desire, or chasing temporary happiness. But real freedom goes deeper than that. It’s not about escaping boundaries—it’s about being grounded in truth. Because when we are rooted in God’s truth, we are no longer controlled by fear, doubt, or the expectations of others. We are reminded that truth sets us free. Free from the lies that say we’re not enough. Free from the pressure to measure up. Free from the weight of our past. God’s truth speaks identity, purpose, and love over our lives—and when we stand firm in that truth, we begin to walk in real freedom. Freedom rooted in truth means living with clarity, confidence, and peace. It means choosing what is right even when it’s not easy. It means trusting God’s Word over our feelings and believing that His plans are always better than our own. You don’t have to search far for freedom—it begins when you choose to believe what God says about you. Stand firm in truth. Walk boldly in freedom. And let your life reflect the power of both.

Waiting Well Without Losing Hope
Waiting is never easy. There are moments when the silence feels heavy, when prayers seem unanswered, and when the timeline we hoped for doesn’t unfold the way we imagined. It’s in these seasons that our faith is tested the most—not in abundance, but in the waiting. We are reminded that waiting is not a punishment—it is preparation. God is not delaying without purpose. Behind the scenes, He is working, aligning, and shaping everything for His perfect timing. Even when we don’t see it, He is moving. Waiting well means choosing to trust even when we don’t understand. It means holding on to His promises when doubt tries to creep in. It means continuing to grow, to pray, and to believe that what God has prepared is always worth the wait. You may feel like you’re in a season of pause, but God is never stagnant. Every delay has a reason. Every moment is intentional. And every step is leading you closer to what He has planned for you. So don’t lose hope. Keep your faith steady. Keep your heart open.

When waiting for someone or something, it's so easy to jump ahead of God's plan and try to do it yourself. Which is always a disaster, at least it is for me. God's timing is the best. He sees the future and His timing is perfect. We just have to be patient (hard word to see and do). Again prayers, time in His word, attending church and having a mentor praying with you comes into play here.
Faithfulness in Daily Work
Not every act of faith happens in big, visible moments. Sometimes faith is found in ordinary work. In showing up consistently. In doing the small things well. In serving with integrity when no one is watching. Daily work—whether at home, in ministry, in business, or in the responsibilities we carry—can become a place where faith is lived out. Because faithfulness is often formed in routine. In the tasks that seem unnoticed. In the discipline of showing up. In honoring God through everyday responsibilities. It can be easy to think only big accomplishments matter. But often God works through steady obedience in ordinary places. Faithfulness in daily work looks like: ✨ Giving your best even in small assignments ✨ Working with integrity when no one sees ✨ Staying committed when progress feels slow ✨ Serving with purpose, even in routine tasks ✨ Trusting God with the work in front of you today Sometimes we wait for “greater things,” while overlooking the value of being faithful right where we are. But faithfulness in little things matters. Daily work may feel ordinary… but when offered to God, even ordinary work carries meaning. The small things done with faith can have lasting impact. Maybe today faithfulness looks less like doing something extraordinary… and more like honoring God through what’s already in your hands. Through consistency. Through diligence. Through quiet obedience. Because faithful work is never wasted. What you do daily can be an act of worship. 👇 What does faithfulness in daily work look like for you right now?

@Elizabeth Hostetter You are so right. Especially as you age. Why clean today no one's coming over? You have no idea what God has in store for you today. Cleaning is one of my ways to worship Him. Being prepared for God and His ways.

I have ADHD and being consistent in anything is hard. Some mornings before I can lift my head off my pillow I pray for strength, willingness and for God to show me and direct me into what His will for my day. I pray so much during the day especially when I want to give up. But God is there. Devotions, listening to the right music, keeping my TV off , going to church, they're hard but God helps me accomplish these things. And He fulfills me through those things.
