Pershing Custodian
Does anyone have experience working with Pershing? What do you like or not like? Do they allow alternative investments on their platform? Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Custodians! How's yours?
A very important part of the tech stack we haven't talked about too much yet! So much of RIA ops has to do with the custodian. What's your main custodian? Are you content with it? Considering a switch?

Fidelity Investments is a good custodian, but they are ultra conservative when it comes to investing client assets in alternative investments. The service team has suffered greatly after Covid. As a rule of thumb I call twice to get instructions on unique scenarios because more than half the time I get wrong information. We are searching for a second custodian that is alternative investment friendly.
