Honest question
There's no wrong answer here. Have you ever quietly felt like following God should have made life easier? Not the polished answer. The real one.

@Lydia Ramirez I felt that way before in my own home. My daughter and her family moved in and her family grew and soon I felt one of us had to move and since she had children I wanted them to have a home so I moved to Germany to live with my sister. That was 24 yrs ago. I found a new friend in my sister and we became very close. Not at all like our childhood. I can’t say I still don’t feel out of place sometimes, but my sister has been very generous and gave me a craft room and I’ve been doing better as I craft and listen to Christian music and sing worship songs. It takes me to a whole new space. Maybe you could make yourself a crafting space and give yourself a break from the world and just craft and praise God. Just a thought. I’ll be praying for you, if that’s ok. Not fitting in can be a very lonely feeling. We started a game night once a month to get to meet new neighbors. I’m to chicken to reach out, but my sister is outgoing. It’s a great way to meet new people and make new friends. We found the 2/3 are religious and we’ve been praying for each other. Sometimes we have to go out of our comfort zone. My hardest thing to do. I’ll be thinking about you.
🕊️ Faith Post Friday
What's helping your faith right now? A book, a podcast, one verse, a song you keep going back to. One recommendation, and a line about why it landed. @Ruthanna Reardon asked this first and got 107 answers. We're making it a standing Friday thing because of her.

My mother passed a week ago and I feel very blessed by all the thoughts and prayers that keep me going right now. My comfort is Christian music. It’s calming to my soul to praise God especially at a time like this.
