Other hormones
@Ty Vincent Good morning! I’ve seen you comment about other hormones or needs for men over 50 to get the most out of their T dosing. What would those thing be generally? Dhea, preg, progesterone?

@Ty Vincent I’m 60yr old. I had an nstemi June of 24. Stent placed in Lad. So you can imagine Dr harps on my cholesterol levels and not taking statin or continuing anti platelet meds. Especially with it slightly elevated and Hdl slightly below range. As well as H&H being higher and telling me the dangers of therapy with Testosterone. Do you know of any Cardiologist in Texas that are knowledgeable and up to date in newer Testosterone studies and cardiovascular health. August I had labs done privately and things were looking better. Was dosing 275 mg weekly. I upped my dose to 200 twice weekly a week and a half ago. So new primary care Dr Monday and he drew labs. ApoB up out of range, Lp(a) slightly up out of range and ldl slightly out of range. Hcrit down from 56-55 hemoglobin up from 18.9 -19.1. So my hand was slapped and told to stop injecting, why aren’t you taking statin. You’re gonna clog your stent and stroke out. So not liking this guy already had a Preventative Cardiologist who was fairly easy to work with but started a Private membership practice and it’s kind of steep with no insurance accepted.

@Ty Vincent yes sir I stayed on clopidogrel for nearly 2 yrs. Switched to nattokinase. Just worry that living at at least 2000 ng/dl will have a negative outcome cardiovascular wise. Just so much much fear mongering out there in this space.
Cholesterol
@Ty Vincent Hi Doc. So in your experience with T levels at or above 2000ng/dl, lipids improve? Does that include Hdl and sub fractions, particle size? The Bhasin study shows lowered Hdl and raised Ldl. I have questions on this matter myself as at one point using 240mg TE 2x weekly for months up from my normal dose of 240 mg TE. My lipids had improved but the lab work was about 3 weeks after cessation of the 480 weekly and back to 240. My particle size tends to be bad although my total cholesterol and ldl are not that bad.

@Ty Vincent Thank you!
Cholesterol on trt
I saw it online that high levels of T worsens lipid profile and increases bad cholesterol, have you talked about this in one of the videos , is it the metabolites that causes this?
