Coming down for closing weekend! Any tips on times to go out or dress are appreciated! Assuming earlier is better, do I even need a light jacket at that time, or thin shirt is fine even in the early am?

Hi all, Another east coaster here, now living in Reno with my family, kids 9 and 11. We normally ski squaw, but discovered mammoth about 12 years ago and fell in love with the area. Last year we pulled the trigger on our dream and got a small condo in Seasons 4. We come down when we can, more in the shoulder seasons. We love 22 and 23, but are still learning the mountain. Love hiking and swimming in the lakes in the summer.
