Heavenly Father, I rest in the promise of Philippians 4:7, that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. When the storms of life rage, I stand firm, knowing that Isaiah 26:3 says You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You. Let Your peace rule in my heart today, as Colossians 3:15 commands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I am in the middle of my work day and it’s been a busy morning. So, I stopped thinking. I stopped typing. I stopped…to take a breath. Sometimes we just need a break. Life gets busy and everything is “important” but nothing is more important than you. Take a minimum of 60 seconds to just take a breath. Heavenly Father, I receive Your love today, for 1 John 4:8 declares that You are love. Romans 8:38-39 assures me that nothing—neither death nor life, angels nor demons—can separate me from Your love. Fill my heart with the love of Christ, as Ephesians 3:17-19 says, so I may grasp how wide, long, high, and deep Your love truly is. Let me love others with the same love You have poured into me, for John 13:34 commands me to love as You have loved me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
