What’s currently the hardest part of podcasting?
What’s been the most time consuming for you lately while managing and growing your show? Content, editing, staying consistent, or turning listeners into clients? For me, I’ve realized networking and finding aligned guests takes more time than I expected.

@Carla Welch You're definitely not alone. Editing seems to be one of the biggest hurdles for many podcasters because it requires a completely different skill set from creating content and having conversations. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of podcasters spend months trying to master editing when their real strength is recording episodes and connecting with their audience. There's nothing wrong with learning it yourself, but there's also nothing wrong with getting help when it starts taking time away from content creation. Keep at it, it does get easier with practice. And if you ever need advice on editing workflows, tools, or podcast post-production, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to share what I've learned from working on podcast audio projects. Wishing you success with your show!
Your first 5 steps!
Welcome to Real Podcasters! You’ve officially joined the #1 community for podcasters who are ready to grow, stay consistent, and hit their goals. 🎯 To start unlocking courses, resources, and live calls, you’ll need to earn points — and that happens by participating! 🙌 You’ll get 1 point for every 💬 comment or ❤️ like you receive on a post or comment you make. Here’s how to get started:👇 ✅ Step 1: Comment “I’m in!” below this post. 🤗 Step 2: Like someone else’s “I’m in” comment (that gives them a point). 🎬 Step 3: Record a short intro video (under 90 seconds). Share your name, what your podcast is about, and your favorite food! 💌 Step 4: Comment “Welcome [name]!” on someone’s intro video to give them a point. ✨ Step 5: Spread the love — give 3 more points by commenting or liking other posts that were fun, helpful, or inspiring. Remember: results come when you TAKE ACTION. You’re in the right place — let’s grow together. 👊 — Skylar Bytendorp
