MARCH 24th I TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE!
Day 51! Today will be a day of taking responsibility to achieve things I have been putting off, due to doing other things that are equally important in my life! I will be taking responsibility to enjoy, love, and do it at my own pace! Happy Monday everyone! Let’s make it a great week!

How to Narrate Your Life Story
This video is special to me. I've turned to it more than once when I needed to reframe my own story; when self-doubt crept in, or when my past felt like a string of missteps rather than a path of growth. It’s a reminder that the way we tell our own story shapes how we see ourselves and our future. The same facts can lead to despair or hope - it all depends on the narrator. If you've ever been too harsh on yourself, this might help you see things differently. Give it a watch. You might find a new way to tell your story.

Great point, it's not easy, but as you said, you learn, because if you don't heal it within yourself, you'll repeat it in another relationship. It all starts with yourself. Thank you.
The #1 reason most coaches burn out (stop doing this)
I had an interesting chat with one of my private clients today. She's absolutely crushing it with her coaching clients. Getting awesome results. Doing all the right things. But she kept getting these "small requests" from clients... "Can you modify this PDF into a Google doc?" "Could you change this format?" "Would you adjust this worksheet?" Seemingly innocent stuff, right? Wrong. This is actually a massive trap that destroys most coaching businesses. And here's why... When you start jumping through hoops to accommodate every little client request... You're not just wasting time. You're actually HURTING your clients. See, there's a difference between being helpful and being a pushover. Between serving clients and becoming their servant. And most coaches get this completely wrong. They think "the client is always right." They worry about seeming difficult. They fear losing clients if they say no. So they keep accommodating... Keep modifying... Keep bending over backwards... Until they're exhausted, burnt out, and questioning why they got into coaching. But here's the truth... Sometimes being a great coach means saying NO. It means holding firm on your methods. For example... When we give clients written exercises, we INSIST they do them by hand. Not typed. Not digital. Physically written. Why? Because when you write something down manually... You become more physically attached to the concept. It sticks deeper in your mind. Creates stronger neural pathways. But if a client asks to "type it instead"... And we cave... We're actually robbing them of that deeper learning. We're sacrificing their results for their convenience. And that's not what real coaching is about. Real coaching is about getting RESULTS. - Even when it means being a bit uncomfortable. - Even when it means doing things differently. - Even when it means saying no. Look... Your coaching methods aren't just random. Your processes aren't accidents. Your systems exist for a reason.

Phew, you're describing me. Sometimes, in order not to lose my clients, I do what they want. Very good observation, I'll keep it in mind. Thank you!

@Tracy Atti That's right, coaching is really about eliciting the client's own ability to solve problems, and if someone else is solving it, then it's not coaching. Saying "yes" to everything is just solving it for them. In Mexico, where I live, it's common for people to want everything resolved and easy, and it's important to know how to say no.
Exact steps for Certification Process -UPDATED
Many have contacted me asking how to complete this process, so I thought I would lay it out here, step-by-step, in hopes it might help everyone. Ed has created a video outlining the steps, which I will summarize below https://www.skool.com/lifecoachcertificationfree/classroom/8ba4b069?md=023fc73b2bb14a25ba0bb47e14264f32. Here are THE STEPS: Send an email to '[email protected]" containing the following: (since it is highly unlikely that you will be able to send your video via email due to size restrictions, I suggest creating a Google folder, adding these items there, and then sending the link to that folder). 1. A recording of ONE of your coaching sessions: (NOTE: This can be a video or audio - they are evaluating your coaching skills, which come through your language. There is no requirement on length - whether it's 30 minutes or 90 minutes does not matter). UPDATE: If your primary language is something OTHER than English, contact Ed's team at the email above to inquire if you can submit your coaching session in your native language. 2. A completed copy of the Coaching Assessment document (See attached) of your assessment of that coaching session. (NOTE: This is a SELF-ASSESSMENT where you assess the coaching session you are submitting. This requires NO ONE other than yourself. You submit this form, COMPLETED, with your coaching call.) 3. A completed Coaching Academy feedback form (See attached). 4. An acknowledgment that you have completed all the modules (They can check this behind the scenes so they already know if you did or did not complete them) 5. NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE SUBMITTED. Your completion of your "tasking" is accepted on an honor system - they trust you are doing it, and you do not need to submit it. - NOTE: Most videos are too long to send via email - for that reason, I created a Google folder containing all the above and sent them the link to that folder (with access rights) in the email. - The coaching Assessment document is an Excel spreadsheet where you rate how well YOU covered each of the steps outlined in the spreadsheet. This is your best guess at how well you did and what you can improve upon. I don't believe they are looking for perfection, as we are always improving our skills. - UPDATE: many have asked if you need to demonstrate ALL the distinctions covered in the Expert Coach training. I think that would be a challenge to do - based on the self-assessment form, these are the skills you DO need to be able to demonstrate: 1)Creates introduction that is focused and engages the client. 2) Poise and confidence. 3) Pacing of speech. 4) Conveys ideas with originality and clarity 5) Addresses short-term goals 6) Addresses long-term goals 7) Responds to questions
