College ball has been on my mind for awhile now I’m told not to worry so much about it, but as we all know time goes by really fast. Baseball is my life every moment I’m thinking of things to work on ways to get better moments in games that never happened picturing myself in these beautiful moments on the great big fields surrounded by hundreds and thousands of fans. College ball is important to me so much as well for my grandpa, as I made a promise to him that I’d go as far as I can with baseball till I max my limit so no matter what I have to do I’ll keep grinding till I fulfill that promise. The amount of times I’ve been doubted or laughed at for my dream is a great reason why I keep on pushing as well, and yes I’ve had a fair share as well tell me they think I can if I keep working how I am to make it but it’s the words the other people said that almost make me smile because when people hate on you for you’re dreams you’re usually doing something right. To rap this up baseball to me was never a sport it’s my life it’s a key part of who I am and will always live on with me so no matter what it takes I will make it to college ball no matter the risk the cost you name it what ever it takes to get a step closer to my dream -Cory
3 things I need to work on that I have been working on is 1- my swing I been coming under the ball and I really also need to first find a comfortable position for my swing and not just what people tell me to do I realized because just cause one thing works for someone doesn’t mean it will work for you 2- my foot work for throw downs. I had a lesson with Coach Kevin not too long ago giving me things I can do to work on my foot work come through my arm path stay straight and connected and I will soon be starting a clean Fuego so I’m stoked about that 3- something big is I’m a perfectionist when it comes to anything, school sports you name it so I get quite nervous when I know I can’t do something 100% correct and I’ve really been trying to tell myself it is really okay to mess up and that’s how we all learn is by messing up than picking ourselves back up and trying again -Cory
