Carbide Create Vs. Vcarve pro
Hey asked this in the live last night but it must have been over looked which is fine after I asked it I thought it would be better to ask it in here then I can get other people who have made the choice to change software as well. My question last night was if Ryan was going to try and us carbide create when he get his shapeoko or not. Main reason I am looking to upgrade (when I can between paying/having surgerys) is there seems to be more features then even carbide create pro and looks easier to use/ more videos on v carve. I look for videos comparing the two software and didn't get to far. And feed back would be great or links to stuff that I may have not seen. Thank you in advance.

@Kipton Sorensen thank you for the response and I would but i have the 4by4 machines so sadly not a option for me but thanks. I will most likely be buying in the next month the more I look alot of youtubers/cnc operators use vcarve and I think i saw alot of training/instructional videos for v carve.

Iโ€™m Ryan, the founder of this group and a passionate CNC entrepreneur. Iโ€™m super excited to have you all here. This community is all about helping each other grow, learn, and create with CNC machinesโ€”whether youโ€™re just starting or looking to take your skills to the next level. Hereโ€™s a little about me: - Iโ€™ve been working with CNC machines for 10 years, building a business and helping others do the same. - My favorite thing about CNC is turning a simple design into a product that people love. - Fun fact: I love Bourbon and Tequila, and have over 100 bottles in my collection/stash Now itโ€™s your turn! In the comments, let us know: - Your name and where youโ€™re from - What stage are you at in your CNC journey (just starting, hobbyist, business owner, etc.)? - What youโ€™re most excited to create or learn with CNC - A fun fact about yourself! Looking forward to getting to know everyone and seeing what amazing projects weโ€™ll create together!

I am Cory I started Chain of Lakes Woodworking a couple years ago to make a little extra side income with woodworking and have been wanted to get into cnc for a little while. I got into cnc about 2 months ago so still learning got a few projects under my belt. A fun fact about myself is I had a quarter of my brain removed when I was 11 years old due to epilepsy. Haven't had a seizure since!!! Hope to learn a lot from this and maybe help some others out. Thank you Ryan for all the great content and useful information.

@Slim Mab yeah normally don't mention it but thought I might help someone who thinks they can't start to learn the cnc or really anything in life because they were told/think because I have this or that I can't do it. Yep and yeah did a big job last month that I ended up gifting to all the family's on my girlfriend hockey team to get my name out there.
