Hello everyone, my name is Corey Whetstone-Bey, founder of DO MOOR MULTI SERVICE LLC, doing business as Moorish Hauling. I serve businesses, brokers, shippers, owner-operators, and entrepreneurs through transportation, hauling, business consulting, financial education, and strategic business development. My goal is to help people move freight, build stronger businesses, understand business credit and financial systems, and create long-term assets for their families. Right now, I am growing Moorish Hauling, developing Moorish Hauling Academy, and building digital products, AI-powered systems, and educational resources for transportation professionals and business owners. I am especially interested in using AI to automate operations, improve marketing, generate leads, manage administrative work, and turn knowledge into scalable income. I am joining from Florida, although my trucking business takes me throughout the United States. One book that has influenced my mindset is The Richest Man in Babylon because of its lessons concerning discipline, wealth-building, ownership, and financial responsibility. A destination I would love to visit—and possibly host a future business retreat—is Morocco, where entrepreneurs could connect, learn, develop strategies, and build meaningful partnerships. Your will cannot override a beneficiary designation.
If your 401(k) says your ex-spouse — your ex-spouse gets the money. Doesn't matter what your will says. The U.S. Supreme Court confirmed this in 2009. It is not a loophole. It is the law. Most people have never audited the beneficiaries on their retirement accounts, life insurance, or bank accounts. Most people don't do it after a divorce, a remarriage, or after a named beneficiary dies. By the time the family finds out, the money is already gone.
