This is what happened when you dont listen
Coach @LaToya Taylor used to build a schedule and it told you to repurpose so this is what happens when you dont listen!!! This is what happens when you create so much stuff and dont listen to your coach, you start finding your OWN work like it belongs to somebody else. 😂 Y’all… I made this coloring page from an app I built sometime last year and completely forgot about it. 😭 I was going through some of my old creations and ran across the app again, started playing with it, and THIS came out. And I’m sitting here looking at it like… “Wait a minute. I MADE THIS APP?!” 😂 That’s when you know you’ve been building too much. But this is also why I keep going back through my old projects. Sometimes the next thing you need to work on isn’t a brand-new idea. It’s something you already built that deserves another look. And now I'm looking at this coloring page thinking… 👀 What do y’all think: should I dust this app off, update it, and bring it back? And if I did… would you actually use an app that turned your ideas into coloring pages like this? 👀

I DID IT—AND I’M PROUD OF MYSELF!
Yesterday, I hosted my You Made It. Now Sell It. workshop. One person registered. And you know what? I showed up and gave her the full workshop. I didn’t cancel. I didn’t decide it wasn’t worth doing. I didn’t let the number stop me. And we had a wonderful time! 💙 Because it was just the two of us, I was able to answer her questions as they came up, talk through her specific product, and give her the kind of personal attention that can be difficult in a larger group. It became an unexpected one-on-one experience—and it was GREAT! She learned. I learned. And I gained even more confidence as a workshop host and teacher. Would I plan to teach every workshop this way? Probably not. 😂 But am I grateful that I kept going and served the one person who trusted me enough to sign up? Absolutely! Sometimes success doesn’t look like a room full of people. Sometimes it looks like showing up for the one person who came—and giving her your very best. So yes, I’m celebrating this win! I didn’t quit. I taught the workshop. I served my participant well. And now I know I can do it again. One participant still counts. One person helped is still impact. 💙🦋 And the Superhero prompt was right on time because that’s what I felt like. 🦹🏽‍♀️

Emotionally Drained vs Burnout
Feeling emotionally drained and experiencing burnout can look similar, but they’re not always the same thing. Emotionally drained can feel like you’ve given too much of yourself away. You may still be functioning, but conversations, decisions, responsibilities, and other people’s needs start to feel heavier than usual. Burnout can develop when ongoing stress and demands leave you physically, mentally, and emotionally depleted. Even things you normally care about may begin to feel like another obligation. The question isn’t always, “How do I push through this?” Sometimes it’s: ✨ What has been taking the most out of me? ✨ What kind of rest am I actually missing? ✨ What can I reduce, postpone, delegate, or say no to? ✨ What would help me feel replenished and not just temporarily distracted? You don’t have to wait until you’re completely running on empty to pay attention to what your mind and body are telling you. Save this for the days when “I’m tired” doesn’t quite explain what you’re feeling. #EmotionalWellness #EmotionallyDrained #Burnout #MentalWellness #SelfCare #EmotionalHealth #StressManagement #Overwhelmed

Can you be both? The tears flow every Wednesday before I start my Thursday shift. It feels like I never leave that place.
August 29, 2026 | CPDP Graduates: I Have an Opportunity for You
I’m preparing for our first CPDP Experience First AI Summit, and I want CPDP graduates to be the featured speakers. The Summit will take place: - September 21, 2026 | 6:00–7:30 PM ET - September 22, 2026 | 6:00–7:30 PM ET I’m looking for six CPDP graduates, three for each night. Each selected graduate will have 18 minutes to use their Capstone to teach the audience something useful. You can show what you built, teach part of your process, explain how you solved a problem, or demonstrate what became possible when you combined your experience with AI. And you will not have to figure out how to prepare on your own. I will personally train the six selected speakers and help you prepare for your presentation. For now, I want to see who is interested. The official speaker interest form will be posted tomorrow. Type "me" if you'll be applying to speak.
