So Many AI Tools, So Little Time. How TF Do You Decide What to Use? 🤯🤯🤯
So many AI tools, so little time. I’m curious—how are you all deciding which tools or strategies to actually implement? I’ll be honest, ChatGPT is the only AI tool I actually pay for. I use Notion AI a lot too, but it's included in my Notion subscription. Not because the others aren’t worth it—Claude, Gemini, and so many others are on my radar—but because I’ve learned something about myself: when I try to use everything, I end up using nothing. Even right now, we're all NECK DEEP in this AI business summit (it's AMAZING, isn't it!!?!?!). Like, I’m soaking up so much good stuff and I'm SURE you are too! But it’s also making me super aware of how easy it is to hit information overload. I’ve got dozens of podcast episodes saved in Spotify (thanks @Kristin Winstanley 😂), a ton of notes from the sessions, and a backlog of tools I “should” try. But at some point, I have to put blinders on. Not because I don’t care. But because I do. I care about my peace, my energy, and my ability to stay consistent. And sometimes, trying to keep up with every new tool or tactic just fries my brain. So instead of chasing “the best,” I stick with what’s working—for me. I think this shows up outside of AI, too. Should you use Zapier, Make, or N8N? Honestly, who cares. A lot of experts might have opinions, but if a tool works, doesn’t overwhelm you, and doesn’t break the bank—that’s a win. I’ve been thinking a lot about how important it is to gut-check whether we’re in a season of experimentation or a season of refinement. There’s nothing wrong with learning all the things if you have the space for it. But if you’re already overwhelmed, sometimes the best move that WON'T burn you out is choosing less. Fewer tools. Fewer strategies. More clarity. What I'm doing this week? I'm grabbing ALL the tools but I'm SAVING most of them for later. I'm only really diving into the tools that feel like they're supporting me through the immediate goals that I have! That's just my two cents as a burnout coach and Notion systems strategist. 😉🫶🏻
