Hi, Asking again for an update regarding Nationals, as I’m sure a lot of people like myself would like to finalize traveling plans during the upcoming holiday season.

in 2026 there will only be 3 World Cups which are considered Cat A events. Starting in Cairo and ending in Budapest each World Cup has close to 4 weeks between events. The UIPM is introducing a separate series of events called Challengers which will give athletes more opportunities to compete in high level international competitions without the spot light and restrictions and cost of a World Cup. USAPM is awaiting more information on these competitions and will share anything we find out in the coming month. To the USAPM Community – We want to share an important update regarding the recently announced National Championships event. After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to postpone the event to a future date. While this wasn’t an easy call, we believe it’s the right one. The delay is due to an unexpected change in the delivery timeline of our new Obstacle Course, which is now set to arrive no earlier than mid-August. This course is a key piece of our commitment to hosting top-tier competitions—and we want to ensure that when we do bring you this event, it meets the full standards of a UIPM Category A experience. We know how hard our athletes are training, and we deeply appreciate your continued dedication and momentum. In the meantime, we encourage those eager to compete to consider the Canadian National Championships, which take place the same weekend. We’ll be sharing more details about that opportunity shortly.
