📕 Relentless | My Library
From Good to Great to Unstoppable is a 2013 self-improvement book which details the legendary mindset of elite athletes like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Dwyane Wade. The book distinguishes between three types of competitors—"Coolers," "Closers," and "Cleaners"—arguing that true greatness requires tapping into a "dark side" of intensity and instinct rather than relying on thought. https://www.amazon.com/Relentless-Unstoppable-Tim-S-Grover/dp/1476714207

Such a good book and I’m so glad you recommended it to me. I need to reread it again because on the top of my head, I can’t imagine or think of anything that I’m actively applying, but it makes you come to reality of whether you are closer or a cooler or a cleaner, and I think the biggest Takeaway was play a game that you’re not competing with other people because if you are competing with other people, you’re gonna lose eventually you have to play game that they’re not playing so you can be the best in your field.

🥩 Mid-week Lesson 3.1i: Challenges
A unprepared mind invites suffering during the challenging times of life, but a battle ready attitude leads to composure and poise in turbulent conditions. By and large life is difficult and requires an effort of work. But we do have a choice in our work, resenting the days of struggle or mastering your attitude. A key to keep is embracing dilemmas and difficult circumstances. It isn't the problems in of themselves that present, its the lack of being prepared that causes loss and suffering. The one that expects things to not goes as planned will not become overwhelmed. Suffice it to say that challenges are good for you. 🔎 A useful life inevitably brings many problems with it, while the desire for ease ultimately brings insufficient discomfort. In wasting several naive years, thinking I'd be happy only once I've eliminated problems all together. The idea of doing what you love and the money will follow creates a false expectation. Convincing us that job stress and personal struggle were abnormal and unnecessary, ie the phrase follow your bliss or the expression follow your passion. The trouble I see too often is that ideal leads to an unreasonable expectation that work equates pleasurable and blissful duties. And when everyday common challenges seem to become mountains I became increasingly frustrated. Contrary to that ill-advice, I find it better to expect those difficult circumstances as a normality, day to day trials, and maintain a problem-solver attitude. Difficulties are meant to spur growth not discourage your aims. We must get to a point of understanding that human spirit is designed to grow by conflict and problem solving. At the summit of our most productive years each day's battle is overcoming challenges. What is your capacity to deal with those stresses? With constant exposure of growth expansion and scaling income ones ability also increases. We strengthen to handle the challenges that once defeated us. We expand our boundaries, limitations, and capabilities through pressure and being out of our comfort zone.

🍿 Movie Hmwk | Unbroken
A harrowing real life story of Louis Zamperini. A compelling motivation to push past personal limitations, sour hardships, & unforeseen dire circumstances. Especially when faced with the challenging adversities that test what you’re made of. ⚠️ PG13 This movie isn’t for the faint of heart; while as a whole it is powerful & inspirational film, there significant elements of war-time brutality and the cruel treatment of PoWs. The main character goes through many trials over the course of his life and this film captures some of the most intense moments of being lost at sea and taken prisoner by enemy forces of WWII. I think some of life’s greatest lessons are our ability to remain even when it’s a lose-lose situation. To have the courage & honor to accept what is for the sake of a greater purpose. Sometime all you can do brace for impact and nosedive without forgetting to cherish the good time and loved ones in your life. Often I have to remind myself of his attitude/ conviction of "If you can it, You can make it". Which has gotten me through my share of difficult times to strive for achievements even when my spirits are low and I don’t feel like showing up. And that when the going gets tough; the tough get going. #moviecollection https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1809398/

That book is awesome. Biggest lesson I’ve learned from this is prepare for your hardest / worst day today so when it happens, you are prepared. Ex. Get fit/ strong, save extra, get lethal, do everything so when that dark day comes, you are ready to handle it easier than if you weren’t prepared. When you are having easy times, make it hard so when you have hard times, it will be easier. Can be handled

I have a few cars that are down for repairs right now, so I’ll be getting quite a few of my cars online this month which is awesome and I will be focusing on creating content consistently for my school and uploading. I will also be recruiting people that are the right fit. I will also be exploring ways to improve my physique as I’ve been slacking a little boy.
