Changing the "Tea Time" for Q and A
I had the original tea time for Q and A at 8am (CST) on Tuesdays and no one has made it yet. Please vote on a time that might work better for you. As we grow, I want a time that works for people. As you can tell, I'd like to put them on Thursdays. Once people start coming, I'll record the Q and A portion and post the recordings. If you're watching videos in the classroom, these are great opportunities to ask questions about the video content.

@Beth Smith good to know that you would catch the replays.
Fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.
This is a quote by Dale Carnegie. Fear is one of the biggest emotions that drives so many decisions- especially when we’re chronically ill. “What if I do too much?” “What if never heal?” “What if there is mold in the new place?” I encourage my clients to turn “what ifs” into “even if” statements. They look like this: “Even if I do too much, I’ll learn better where my boundary is” “Even if I never heal, I can enjoy the gift of today” “Even if there is mold, I can gather tools that support my body” These questions keep us stuck. Have you felt stuck before? How have you moved out of fear in the past and into freedom?

@Amanda Mirrlees yes it is! How can you start to frame it as a great adventure and new learning opportunities? How can you start to lean more into the gratitude of this amazing new start?

I get that. When you're taking breaks, try to sit outside and breathe fresh air. That helped me when I was feeling horrible. You've got this. Go at a pace that is manageable for you - not what you expect you "should" be able to do.
Community Q & A Get Togethers
I am moving the every other week Q and As times, which I call "Tea Times," to Thursdays from 12-1. Hopefully this time will work better and we can connect as a community and you can ask any questions you have about mold, healing, trauma. Anything! Hope to see you there! Let me know if this time is better for you!

Community Q & A Get Togethers
Welcome to new members!
@Dakota Sutcliffe @Mary Lummerding I'm so excited you've joined us here! Existing members, please show them some love by tagging them and saying hi. New members, if you haven't already, please visit the Welcome Post and either comment there or create a new post to introduce yourself. Please include your experience with mold (if you have one) and one fun fact to remember you by. This is where you can learn about mold illness and start to heal. We're thankful you're here.
What is your favorite health and wellness book?
I love to read and am always looking for recommendations. I really liked reading "Why We Get Sick" by Benjamin Bickman. He provided lots of scientific support and practical tips. What was a really helpful book for you and why? If you don't have a favorite health book, what is a book you read recently that you loved? (I also like to just read for fun and to relax!)
