How much easier is practice test 6 compared to the real SAT?
I just scored a 1590 on practice test and want to know how accurate that is for the real SAT 😭
Hey guys, just scored a 1570 on practice test 10 (770 RW, 800 Math). Am I on a good track for this weekend's SAT?
@Vxl Vale math: obviously learn desmos, but also learn how to do those questions by hand. it forces you to actually learn the concept rather than outsourcing your thinking to desmos, which can help when desmos cant bail you out on certain questions. also, refresh on some of the more niche concepts (ex: one I recently relearned was about how sin(x)=cos(90-x), stuff like that); you can do this by just burning through hard questions in the question bank and correcting as you go reading writing: obvious advice - do the first 5 questions, then skip to the end and go backwards. always read the question before the passage so you know what to look for. Is it asking for the main idea? Does the question refer to the researcher's methodology, hypothesis, or conclusion? Be careful, you don't wanna lose easy points on this typa stuff. for vocab what im doing is just memorizing the terms that come up the most on the SAT. You can find lists people made on reddit
Test Day + General Prep
Hey guys, the September SAT will be my first time taking an official SAT. What do you guys normally do the day before test and/or the day of the test? Practice test? Warm-up questions? Watch SAT review youtube videos?
Daily SAT Question 8/29
Answer to yesterday's was A (resilient). A bit of a hard question, but it says it is strong UNDER adverse conditions. Durable more just means it is strong, not that it is under pressure. DIFFICULTY: HARD Two pumps dispense liquid at constant rates. Pump A dispenses x milliliters per second, and pump B dispenses y milliliters per second, where x and y are positive real numbers. When both pumps run together, their combined rate is 8 milliliters per second. A 3-milliliter sample takes 1 second longer to dispense using pump B alone than using pump A alone. If x>y, which choice is the value of x?

September SAT
I know this is usually a question that can't be really be answered, but what do we think is going to show up on the September SAT? Maybe some problems like the ones CollegeBoard recently released?
