“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning.” — Proverbs 1:5 Ladies, as we enter a new season, I want to challenge each of us: Don’t just pray for greater opportunities—prepare for them. If God is increasing our influence, responsibility, and opportunities to lead, then we should also be increasing our knowledge, skills, and capacity. 1. Learn Something New Make a decision that in this new season, you are going to learn a new skill. Take the class. Read the book. Learn the technology. Develop your communication skills. Learn how to organize, plan, manage, delegate, or lead more effectively. Never become so comfortable with what you already know that you stop growing. Proverbs 18:15: “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.” 2. Increase Your Leadership Knowledge Leadership is something we can intentionally develop. Study great leaders. Listen to leadership teachings. Ask questions. Learn from people who are strong in areas where you want to grow. Don’t only ask, “What do I need to accomplish?” Ask, “Who do I need to become to lead at the next level?” Your leadership capacity today may have brought you this far, but your next season may require you to develop another level of leadership. 3. Stay Teachable One of the greatest qualities of a strong leader is that she remains teachable. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been leading—there is always something else to learn. Correction can teach you. Experience can teach you. Other leaders can teach you. Even mistakes can teach you. Proverbs 9:9: “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” 🌷 The LeadHERship Challenge Before this year is over, choose one new skill you are going to develop and one area of leadership you are going to intentionally strengthen. Don’t wait until the opportunity comes to start preparing. Prepare now. Because when the door opens, you want your character, knowledge, skill, and leadership capacity to be ready to walk through it.

I want to remind you today that God has not called you to simply exist. He has called you to lead with purpose, courage, and grace. Wherever He has planted you—in your home, workplace, business, ministry, or community—you carry the ability to influence lives for His Kingdom. Don’t let discouragement, delays, or distractions cause you to question your calling. Every challenge is an opportunity for God to reveal His faithfulness. Keep showing up. Keep growing. Keep believing. Your consistency today is preparing you for the doors God will open tomorrow. Remember: • Your influence is greater than you realize. • Your obedience is making an eternal impact. • Your prayers are producing results, even when you can’t yet see them. • Your best days are still ahead because God is ordering your steps. Walk boldly in who God created you to be. Lead with wisdom. Love with compassion. Serve with excellence. Never forget, you don’t lead alone. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, Guide, and Strength every step of the way. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) Keep leading. Keep shining. Keep leaving a legacy that points others to Jesus.

Leading by example means living out what you speak, teach, or preach. Your life should become the evidence of your message. People may listen to what you say, but they will ultimately be influenced by what they consistently see you do. True leadership isn’t built on titles, positions, or popularity. It’s built on credibility. When your actions align with your words, you build trust. When you demonstrate integrity, humility, faithfulness, and consistency, you give others a model they can confidently follow. As leaders, we should never ask others to do something we are unwilling to do ourselves. If we teach prayer, we should be people of prayer. If we encourage excellence, our work should reflect excellence. If we preach forgiveness, we should be quick to forgive. If we expect commitment, we should model commitment. The Apostle Paul understood this principle when he wrote, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). Paul wasn’t pointing people to himself; he was pointing them to a life that reflected Christ. Likewise, our goal as leaders is to become living examples that inspire others to follow Jesus. Remember, your greatest leadership lesson is not always found in your words. It’s found in your daily choices, your attitude, your character, and your consistency. Someone is always watching, learning, and being shaped by the example you set. Reflection: If someone followed my example for the next 30 days, would they become a stronger follower of Christ and a better leader?

True leadership isn’t measured by position. It’s revealed by how we love people. When we lead with patience, kindness, humility, and compassion, we reflect the heart of Christ. Love builds trust, strengthens teams, and leaves a lasting legacy. Scripture: “Let all that you do be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 Bible Example: Jesus Christ demonstrated the greatest example of leadership through love. He served His disciples, washed their feet, and ultimately gave His life for others. His leadership reminds us that the strongest leaders are those who choose to serve in love.
