Writing is boring...
So many young people tell me that don't like writing because it's boring. But when I ask why it is boring, they can't give me a real answer to why, other than when they are in school, they have to write a lot. Which to be honest I think that's cap!!! Why because most of the schools are using tablets and laptops for the kids to do their work. There is not too much writing involved. Which is kind of weird of why my son never has pencils to write with to do homework🤔 But I digress... I want to know what makes writing boring. I want to start a challenge for those who do like writing and want to grow in their writing skills. I have been journaling since I was 8 years old, and to this day I write in my journals for a few reasons: -It helps me release stress -Improves my word understanding and choices -improves my writing skills and penmanship -helps me see where I been and where I'm trying to go -furthers my imagination in creating anything I want Creating this skool community was something I wrote down years ago, now it wasn't specific in the wording, but creating a space for the youth to feel safe and want to interact is what I wanted to do and I'm doing it now! Comment why you like to write or if you don't and why!
Writing for me started with the love of art and drawing. Also going to church and hearing: Write it down, make it plain, also planted a seed for me. Moving to current day, most millionaires or people of success will say : write a plan, make it clear, set a date, list all problems , and more - in order to achieve ANY goal. So if nothing else, the fundamentals writing may be worth considering 😅🙏🏽

THE YOUTH NEEDS A SAFE PLACE...
I know I can't be the only one who feels this way... I want to know who has kids or have been around kids and see the shift in their behaviors compared to how you were brough up. There is a big disconnect between generations which is not the problem because of course we will evolve; however, I feel like a lot of the basic foundations have been lost and forgot. For example: 1. Going outside and playing until the streetlights come on. 2. Reading books in school and taking weekly test. 3. Writing classes in school or writing period 4. Playing with friends without electronics. This is just a few... but what I realize is because these youth don't have a lot of human interaction, they are less wanting to talk let alone share their thoughts or emotions if it's not outside of what benefits them in that moment. I would love to hear your feedback on this....
THE YOUTH NEEDS A SAFE PLACE...
I have kids and been around them. Your right, it’s like they don’t even want to bother with the attempt now a days. What have you found helps them express themselves when they sit in your chair?
@Nelly Nellz Scott Stranger Things on Netflix? Ill have to check it out
Morning Affirmation
I start my day grounded, grateful, and guided. Everything meant for me is already aligning. 🙌🏽

This Agitates Me...
One thing I realize is when Christ is wanting you to do something, or he wants to remove you from an environment he will agitate and make you uncomfortable until you make a move. I have been hardheaded for a while and now in my adult life I try my best to listen and execute without the Lord doing too much agitation. So lately I have been going back and forth with other adults about the youth being more proactive and active in their writing skills. Most adults have an issue with this concept because they too have stopped writing as often so they believe the youth of today will not want to or should not have to practice writing. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We need to get out of that mindset and change the narrative about writing. I believe that someone is ME! So, for the next 30 days I want to do a writing challenge. Very simple and plain. Write for 10 mins in a journal. Try to use the same journal each day so you can keep track. To make it interesting for all age groups, the minimum of sentences you must write has to be your age. For example: if you are 8 years old, the min. would be 8 sentences in that 10-minute time frame. ex. If you are 34 years old your min. is 34 sentences in that 10 min timeframe. I think you guys got the hint... but I want to see who is down for the challenge... Comment below if you down....
Im down, 34 sentence target for me✍️
Live Event
Im hosting the very 1st Kingdom Writers Event this Wednesday @7:30pm. Super excited to finally just do it. This will be a brief intro to who I am and what this community will offer and the expectations of this community. Value add is the key. How I can be a value add to not only the youth in the household, but for the whole family. Yes, the whole family can get into the community and become better writers and effective communicators. This is honestly a dream come true for me, because God told me and showed me signs a long time ago that I need to do this. My obedience throughout the years has brought me here and we are doing his plan. I welcome you all to share this with anyone who wants to grow and get better in writing, communicating, and be better people for the Kingdom of God... Lets Go!!!!https://www.skool.com/live/LxksMGF4KR8
