Just something that has been on my heart today… After listening to Eugene, I realised that maybe the word “overwhelmed” isn’t the right word after all. Maybe we’re simply standing in the middle of something we’ve never done before. I’ve been thinking about it like this… Imagine you’ve just bought a piece of land. It’s covered in weeds. There are no pathways. No fruit trees. No flowers. Just potential. Now someone hands you the keys and says, “This land can become anything you want it to be.” The problem is… I’ve never been a gardener. I don’t know the tools. I don’t know the soil. I don’t know what seeds grow where. I don’t know how to prepare the ground. My passion isn’t gardening. My passion is coaching, facilitation, organisational health, measuring what matters, helping people and businesses grow. Those are my flowers. Those are the fruits I love producing. But I’ve realised something… If I want those flowers to bloom year after year, on my own land, under my own control, then first I have to become a gardener. Not because gardening is my dream. But because gardening is the skill that will protect my dream. That’s what Funnel Junkies feels like to me. Right now we’re not changing who we are. We’re learning how to prepare the land that will allow our passion to grow permanently. Every lesson… Every funnel… Every AI workflow… Every piece of technology… It’s another gardening tool. One day we’ll look back and realise we weren’t abandoning our purpose. We were building the soil that would allow our purpose to flourish without depending on someone else’s land.
