Writing is creative. Publishing is technical. Most authors mix the two, and that’s where problems start.
I’ve worked with many writers who finished a great manuscript…but then got stuck at publishing. Not because the book wasn’t good, but because they didn’t know how to: • format it properly for KDP • design a professional interior layout • choose the right categories/keywords • avoid Amazon rejections• price correctly • position the book to actually sell • or build awareness before launch Publishing isn’t just “upload and pray.” Its structure, strategy, and presentation. That’s the difference between: ❌ a book that sitsand ✅ a book that sells consistently As an Amazon KDP & publishing specialist, I help authors turn manuscripts into clean, professional, market-ready books that readers trust and Amazon favors. 👉 What part of publishing feels most confusing or stressful for you right now? Let’s talk, happy to help.

@Rob Cole Getting a full request can be stressful. You’re on the right path already. A little refinement on the query or opening pages can really help, and I’d be glad to support you if you want.
Writer’s Block Isn’t Always About Creativity (Here’s What I’ve Noticed)
After working closely with a lot of authors, I started seeing something interesting… Many “writer’s block” moments aren’t actually about ideas. They’re usually caused by things like: not knowing how to structure the book overthinking the first draft editing while writing worrying about formatting or publishing too early or feeling unsure what happens after the manuscript is done So the brain freezes. Because it’s not just writing anymore, it feels like 10 problems at once. 📌 One thing I always tell authors: First, finish the story. Then, fix the structure. Then, handle publishing. Separating the stages removes pressure, and creativity flows again. As someone who helps authors with the technical and publishing side (formatting, KDP setup, book prep), I’ve seen how much easier writing becomes when you know those parts are handled. 👉 Curious: what’s actually blocking you right now? Ideas, structure, motivation, or the “what happens after writing” part? Drop it below. Happy to share guidance or solutions where I can.

@Rob Cole What types of marketing have you tried?
I have a book in me! ✍️
Hello everyone! I joined because FM’s mission to help women get their stories out really resonated with me. I’ve been sitting on an idea for a [Memoir/Children’s Book/Business Book] for a while, but I’ve struggled to cross the finish line on my own. I’m really looking forward to the templates and the "no-nonsense" guidance to finally get this done. It feels great to be in a space dedicated to diversifying the bookshelf. Excited to meet you all and cheer you on!

@James Ong Before publishing, did you take time to build awareness and engage your target readers first?
Success story
Not too long ago, my life was on hard mode. I was working as a cleaner in a restaurant, earning $600 a month. Always tired. Always stressed. And honestly I couldn’t see a way out. One day, I swallowed my pride and asked my sister’s friend a simple question: How are you making it? She told me she runs an online store and introduced me to the person who helped her set everything up. At first, I didn’t believe it would work for me. But I followed the steps anyway. Fast forward to today 👇 I now make no less than $28,000 every month and last month I even hit $30k. From cleaning floors to running my own online store. All because someone showed me the right direction. If you’re tired of struggling and want to know what the online store is or how I did it, 👉 comment “INFO” or send me a message on my WhatsApp +14315074155
