🤍 Serving the Poor Like Jesus 🤍
Jesus didn’t just talk about compassion — He lived it. He saw the poor, the overlooked, and the hurting, and He moved toward them with love, dignity, and action. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, and reminded us that serving others is one of the purest expressions of faith. Serving like Jesus means: • Seeing people, not problems • Offering help with humility and love • Giving not for recognition, but out of compassion 📖 “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40 May we be His hands and feet — serving with open hearts, willing hands, and genuine love.

Evangelism, Discipleship…. Reaching into your community to serve others, no matter where they are in their walk with God. Showing them love and compassion. Being a reflection of Jesus. You don’t have to mention His name. They will know we are Christians by our love, support and kindness.

🌿 Faith-Led Goal Setting 🌿
As we set goals, let’s remember to place them in God’s hands first. Faith-led goals aren’t just about productivity — they’re about alignment. Alignment with God’s timing, His purpose, and His peace. When we invite Him into our plans, our goals become more meaningful and less overwhelming. 📖 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 Take a moment today to ask: • Does this goal honor God? • Does it bring peace, not pressure? • Am I trusting God with the outcome? Let’s walk forward with faith, intention, and grace 🤍

@Helen Munger I agree, when one person runs with their ideas and doesn’t consider the ideas of others, but want help without clear communication. God will bless when you ask him to lead you, but let him be your guide, He gives different people different angles of how a project can be brought to fruition. He will bless it when you let him lead. Everyone has a gift to bring to the table.

✨ Testimony Sunday: Christmas Miracles ✨
Christmas is more than a season — it’s a reminder that God still moves, still heals, and still performs miracles. Whether big or small, visible or quietly personal, miracles happen when God steps into our stories. Sometimes it’s provision at the right moment, restored hope, unexpected peace, or a prayer answered in ways we didn’t expect. 📖 “For nothing will be impossible with God.” — Luke 1:37 Today, we invite you to share: • A Christmas miracle you’ve experienced • A prayer God answered this season • A moment where you clearly saw God’s hand at work Your testimony may be exactly what someone else needs to hear today. Let’s glorify God together by sharing His goodness and faithfulness. 🤍🎄

Visiting family for the holidays, I found that my sister in law was actually interested in what I’ve been doing in my ministry, and teaching fourth graders through LifeWise. We had a good conversation and I was able to minister to her with information that she had never known about Jesus’ birth. The swaddling cloths, the manger and when the wise men arrived to see Jesus. I hope and pray this is the door opened that she will attend a church.
📖 Luke 2 Study — The Shepherds 📖
In Luke 2, God chose an unexpected audience to receive the first announcement of Jesus’ birth — shepherds. Shepherds were ordinary, overlooked, and often dismissed by society. Yet God entrusted them with extraordinary news. This reminds us that God’s invitation is not based on status, position, or perfection — it’s based on His grace. What stands out about the shepherds: • They were available — watching their flocks by night • They were fearful, yet open to God’s message • They responded immediately, going to see Jesus • They left changed, praising and glorifying God 📖 “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” — Luke 2:15 The shepherds didn’t question whether they were worthy — they simply went. Their obedience and faith remind us that God often reveals Himself to those with humble hearts who are willing to respond. May we be like the shepherds — attentive, responsive, and ready to share what God has done in our lives. 🤍

The reflection reminds me that not only were the shepherds of low estate in those days, they had a BIG job to do. The sheep like us can stray off into the darkness, and the shepherd must keep account of them all. Jesus the Great Shepherd is watching over us, counting us constantly making certain one does not go astray into the darkness of evil, saving us from the sins of the world. We must be like the shepherds, keeping track of the sheep in our lives always leading them back home to Jesus.
