Good Morning Queens 👑 ❤️
A lot of things have been on my heart and mind this last 24 hours and here is some of what I’m going to share! 💕 🌹 Tuesday Morning — Protect What’s Soft in You 🌹 Good morning, Bloom family. ❤️ I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how easy it is for life to harden us. Disappointment can make us guarded. Betrayal can make us suspicious. Being misunderstood can make us want to stop explaining ourselves. And when we’ve been hurt deeply enough, it can feel safer to become colder, quieter, and less willing to let people see the softer parts of us. But I don’t believe strength has to look like becoming hard. Sometimes real strength is going through something that could have changed you for the worse and deciding that it won’t. It’s learning the lesson without carrying the bitterness. It’s creating boundaries without becoming cruel. It’s recognizing red flags without assuming everyone is out to hurt you. It’s understanding that forgiveness does not always mean access, and protecting your peace does not mean you have to lose your compassion. Life will teach us things. Some lessons will come gently, and others will come through heartbreak, disappointment, loss, rejection, or moments when we genuinely don’t understand why something happened the way it did. Those experiences should make us wiser. They should teach us discernment. They should show us where we need stronger boundaries and where we may have been giving too much of ourselves. But they do not have to steal the best parts of who we are. Your kindness is not weakness. Your willingness to love deeply is not something to be embarrassed by. Your ability to care about people, encourage them, show up for them, forgive, and still believe there is good in others is not something you should allow a painful experience to take away from you. You can have a beautiful heart and still have boundaries. You can be compassionate and still say no. You can forgive someone and still decide they no longer belong in the same place in your life.

Two DIY Peptide Recipes for Lashes, Brows & Thinning Hair Ladies, today we’re doing something a little different. Instead of talking about injectable peptides, we’re heading into our DIY Beauty Lab and looking at topical cosmetic peptides that can be used to support the appearance of fuller lashes, brows, and thinning areas around the hairline. These are two separate recipes because what we want around our eyes is very different from what we can use on the scalp and hairline. 🌹 RECIPE #1: Peptide Lash + Brow Serum What we’re targeting: ✨ Fuller-looking lashes ✨ Sparse brows ✨ Brittle lashes ✨ Breakage ✨ Healthier-looking lash and brow density Commercial peptide lash formulas already use ingredients such as Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 and Panthenol to support thicker, fuller and healthier-looking lashes and brows. (The Ordinary) 🧪 30 mL Formula Base - Distilled water — approximately 22.5 mL - Vegetable glycerin — 1.5 mL / 5% - Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) — 2% - Sodium Hyaluronate — 0.05–0.1% Peptide Complex - Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 cosmetic solution — 3%* - Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 cosmetic solution — 3%* *This assumes your particular cosmetic raw-material supplier permits a 3% inclusion rate. Always follow the usage percentage supplied with the exact peptide complex you purchase, because concentrations vary tremendously between manufacturers. Preservation - Broad-spectrum cosmetic preservative approved by its manufacturer for a leave-on eye-area product, used at the manufacturer’s recommended concentration. Add distilled water as necessary to bring the finished product to exactly 30 mL. 🌸 What Each Ingredient Does Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 A cosmetic peptide commonly incorporated into lash products formulated to improve the appearance of lash thickness and density. It is one of the peptide actives used in The Ordinary’s current Multi-Peptide Lash & Brow Serum. (The Ordinary)
